Can we can the Tyson talk, I spoke to him today, well on the way to full fitness, working his arse off, it was an excellent session today where the players were pounded in 30+deg heat, and they were still going strong at the end Injuries happen, laughing with Gus, at least it wasn't his head again, light week so he can attack the camp next week -

Nah, seemed to get tangled up and twisted a bit in a contest, didn't look too distressed at the end of the session On Spencer, this is only second time at the club that he has got this far in a pre season, has not missed a session, he was outstanding today, galloping through the middle of the ground making himself a target and the players used him, you could see his confidence growing as the session progressed- 153 replies

I spoke to Dom today, he is cool, already improved, did a bit more again, close to running at top speed, did a bit of kicking over distance as well He was [censored] off when injury happened, but any player is Brayshaw has a niggly calf, Nev his quad, said it was from too much non preferred kicking! Kent said he was ticking over the rehab -

I saw whole game thought at times we played the better football, but Carlton capitalised on every mistake Issue with not taking first or easy option, especialy in fwd half as WW says, two of team out on wing all alone, kick goes down the centre to be turned over, one player utters a very unladylike word Agree with WW semed fitter, bigger and stronger, overpowered the Dees in last qtr Daisy Pearce stood out but team also makes mistake of looking for her constantly and expecting her to do something Have put some pics on Instagram, trying to highlight the physicality of the Woman's game On a separare point, you had to enter through main entrance, Chis Judd's photo is still everywhere, there was even a cardboard cut out near the door. Was tempted to nick it, but was on scooter, maybe next time -

They are thinking maybe decent size, good hands and ability to work in close from basketball let's have a look Joel Smith is more your outside player but if Maynard can improve at same rate another small triumph for Recruiting Dept -

I never get a straight answer when I ask him, and after all the kerfuffle over Tyson, not much from anybody else. Somebody said it's back related, no sign of any strapping anywhere when jogging laps on Wednesday with Hulett -

I am working on Friday and besides don't like to travel any further south than Caufield, looking forward to hearing maybe a different reporting voice Of all the training days, think the Wednesday craft day is my favourite, some strange drills when you first look at them, but bit of thought and you see why they are doing them Couple of favourites Player has ball at feet facing away from player, whistle, bend down pick up ball turn left or right, depending on previous and kick immediately to player about 20 metres away Player only holds ball in one hand, keeps other hand behind back, has to drop ball and kick to other player about 15 metres away -

We have just stopped burning players, similar to Nev Jetta and Jayden Hunt, both couldn't get a clear run, but showed glimpses, so club persevered, JKH will be given the same opportunity, fitness staff have worked wonders with this body, ball is now in his court (Aust Open ref), it was fun watching him go head to head with Dion Johnstone today on goalkicking -
Agreed, but if he gets into the team he will have to perform coz he, along with the rest, will know there is somebody waiting to take the spot if they slip up Plapp must be beside himself, apart from some of the talent Casey have signed, he will have hopefully at least 20 guys each week busting a gut to get into the AFL side
-
It all depends on your definition of 'making it' Stuie, he has already played 40 games, for this season it looks like they are primarily going to use him as a small forward so he will be competing with Garlett, JKH and Johnstone and probably Kent for a spot unless of course the FD go with a couple a game He hasn't missed a beat pre season, and like everybody else assume he has to shine in the pre season comp and be fully fit and in form at Match Committee on the Thursday before the first game to at least come into consideration Because I have watched a lot of training I am asked where do I see players fitting in, I don't, I see all 45 with a chance to play and provide competition for every spot in the 22 every week
-
I don't either, I reckon it is all about him being confident in the foot, and getting his lateral movement and step up to the level it was pre injury, hence the work he has been doing with Misso, he is not running in a straight line when doing the exercise with the large lead/band
-
Thank you, I don't care who is in the 22 each week On Smith (Joel), he is developing at an alarming rate, looks better and better each session We have another B class rookie in Maynard who takes part in everything as well and doesn't look out of place, reckon he is going to surprise in his first few games at Casey Not sure on the Trenners injury, he's never mentioned another issue to me, always talked about getting foot right

Other notes Jeff Garlet spent 15 minutes with Justin Plapp working on crumbing and goaling around the goal square, again using both feet Greg Stafford had 4 ruckmen to play with today. both Flip and Mitch King worked hard, outbodied by Max and Pencil of course -

Tommy Mc and Pedo do most things but they also do a bit extra obviously to test the shoulders out, both strapped up but that's normal for both Lewis is above everything else a team man, has impressed all with his team first attitude, think Tommy is taking the [censored] as well with his kicking drill remark about Lewis -

On Lewis' kicking, they had Maxy, Pencil and Flip doing a bit extra, last part of drill was to chase high kick and mark, Lewis volunteered to do the kicking, made all 3 look good -

Tyson is in the rehab group, Kent did some laps with Hulett and a bit of handball, didn't ask, get nothing anyway, club hasn't bothered ANB and Hannan the only other two in rehab, but they may as well be in main group Crossy works them over, another two hours of 'rehab' covering everything Frost all defensive craft no surprise Bugg midfield craft no surprise Highlight for me today Pedo testing his shoulder out late in the session with a bit of one on one with Crossy he survived Forwards heaps of goalkicking practice, including the worst ever effort I have seen from Watts, went sideways, to everybody's amusement, including his, of course he nailed every one after that And on that JKH again lined one up at about 45deg angle 55 out, through the middle, hit the netting behind the goal about half way up, Dion Johnstone then followed same result competition is a wonderful thing pics on Instagram next half hour- 47 replies

Yes but not everyone agrees with your assessment of Trengove, it is you and a few others who can't seem to handle others having a different opinion I like particulary your condescending approach, rip him to bits then say I hope he makes it hilarious Then we get a group bleat I also get bored with posters continually telling they either have me on ignore or don't read my posts, yet I seem to get quoted by the same, now that's hypocrisy
