  1. Can't see what good postponing the first round would do. Empty stadiums yes, but what good would postponement do, might as well cancel the whole season.
  2. It was a very shallow analysis that said nothing. Very poor segment.
  3. I'm a big fan of TMac but we need him to have a strong consistent season otherwise that's what we need a potent key forward.
  4. Since there's 20 or so cases in Vic at the moment I think I'd take my chances.
  5. Conversley I thought apart from the last 10 minutes the intensity between Freo and WC was really poor. Re melb Hawks conditions perhaps?
  6. But Lockhart is slow apparently.
  7. Really can't see where we'll lose a game.
  8. Well I've watched the first 2 games and he doesn't look slow to my eye. If he is he's certainly reading the play well enough to get plenty of the ball. Is your whisper going on last year when he didn't have much preseason because he certainly ran out of puff last year.
  9. Strangely I was thinking David Cordner this morning before I came on the site. Always got hands on the ball rarely held the mark.
  10. Can't you judge for yourself?
  11. Re the conditions, my son who is a Hawks supporter ( don't ask ) says the games at Launceston for some reason are always low scoring scrappy affairs.
  12. Love the heat.
  13. You've summed it up quite well, I'd play Brown before Weid and Jackson, but the problem is who gives Max a rest.
  14. Perhaps I should have asked apart from his 2018 finals when did he or when will he bring something to the forward line.. Its not good enough to take a couple of marks a game when you should have held 4 or 5. He's not a first year player anymore.
  15. Tell me, what did he bring to the forward line last night, as that is where he will play most of the time?
  16. To me the concern last night was the forward structure, mainly regarding the tall forwards. I think it has to be TMac and Brown with Fritsch the smaller leading forward. Weid is giving nothing as a forward at the moment and is only there to give Max a chop out in the ruck, but then if he doesn't play the problem becomes who does relieve Max.
  17. We're lucky Lockhart is looking so promising.
  18. Don't know who comes out, but I think Brown has to play.
  19. Lochart came onto the list late last year and didn't have much pre season.
  20. Might be 20 times more contagious not so sure about the mortality rate
  21. Weideman under a lot of pressure from Brown, he needs to show something early.
  22. Reckon they'll go with Weideman maybe with Brown on the bench. Wedeman on borrowed time I reckon. People keep saying he'll be great when he starts clunking his marks, well when will he? AVB one of the first picked.
  23. The words egg and face come to mind.
  24. Gold Coast game last year, wouldn't have won without his attack on the ball in the last minute, twice.
  25. Out of form/confidence or lost interest?
