I agree. I'd trade Jamar for any club that would pick up his contract. We need to make a statement. It's not like the best SANFL, VFL and WAFL players couldn't fill the gap anyway. We are a rabble and we probably wouldn't even beat the best VFL/SANFL sides anyway.

If we could get a first round pick for Howe, we'd be silly to knock it back. GWS should offer that, they need some sort of excitement.

Byrnes has been much better than Toumpas this year, so, silly statement. That is not hating on Jimmy becasue it's not his fault we've put him in the side, realistically Toumpas should've played VFL all year. Magner should've played AFL ALL year, maybe he didn't lick enough shaft.

I could watch Viney, Wines and Tom Mitchell all day, they are PURE football players. None of this it's too much for me BS.

I wouldn't risk Hogan, only my opinion, it appears 98% are in favor of playing him, I don't see much point. I wouldn't even nearly play him, i'll be surprised if we do.

The kid is 17 and the best talent we have had since David Schwartz. At least give him a chance to do his knee playing AFL. FFS. Don't even talk about our poor culture in the same sentence and Viney and Hogan, they are cut from a different cloth.

Realistically, we should get pick 1 and 19, won't happen, but we are a rabble.

I've barracked for Melbourne for 30 years and can honestly say if we didn't have Jack Viney, I'd no longer support Melbourne. But, If Jack Viney is on board, I am on board.. Todd Viney and Andy Lovell got me through some tough times and Jack Viney now carries that mantle. Dean Terlich is the best value pick up for our club in the past decade as well, thanks Todd.

We need to keep Sylvia and Watts. I apologise to anyone I've ever argued with in regards to Sam Blease. I think I get caught up with his pace and potential. But, I will admit that I am 100% wrong and I'm happy if the club floats Blease up for trade. Players I like going into 2014... Viney, Terlich, Sylvia, Jones, Watts, Kent. I think we need to keep that core. I'd a-hole players like Blease, Strauss and anyone else who thinks we are waiting on them to get a kick. So happy with Terlich, Jones and Kent this year, Todd Viney deserves his props.

Probably 2016. Viney and Mitchell will contest these medals over the years. I reckon Tom Mitchell will win at least 2. No doubt Jack would be earmarked if we can actually win some games going forward.

Brad Johnson is a clown, don't even comment on Toumpas if you are going to dribble. Fact is that Toumpas lacks a core - which is no surprise considering he had hip complaints. VERY limited pre-season from JT. I'm not a Toumpas fan, but even I will admit he done well to even play this year. It just goes to show how much we have battled, because Toumpas body isn't even nearly up to AFL this year. I will judge Toumpas on what he produces when he is on level playing field to other draftees. At present IMO the only thing that might hold JT back is that he is a very emotional and sensitive kid - but this could even work for him.

He was captain of the best team to ever grace the football field, at a club that turned it's fortunes. Cameron Ling would be perfect. Ling is the ultimate battler that got the best out of himself. Come to think of it, he'd probably be the best player on our list - barring Jones.

PJ making all the right moves. Cameron Ling, Paul Roos or Brett Kirk would all be gold for our club.

Moloney has had a good year and Rivers has been injured, Scully is starting to find his feet. I don't really think Scully matters though, he left us and rightfully so, but we pushed the others away. McLean, Moloney and Jones would be a decent midfield. Who knows anymore.

Yeah, I was thinking about this whilst watching Brock tear Richmond a new one. Basically we done nothing right, but what is done is done. Hopefully we get a decent coach and football mananger and then start the rebuild.
