Spirit of the Game
Fine point you make @bingers. There's some pretty thoughtless commentary out there. AFL is a high velocity sport and collisions are inevitable. However, whacking someone in the back of the head just because they've beaten you in a one-on-one contest is not acceptable.

Casey & Other VFL Games Cancelled
I think the VFL is taking this 'work from home' thing a bit too far!

POSTGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
We were poor across most facets of the game, the scoreboard flattered us. The back 6 was way too loose but I think they're good enough to rectify this quickly. At the centre bounce we're simply not getting the synergy that you'd expect from the personnel (talent) that's in there, may take some time to fix - the addition of a match-fit Viney should help. The forward line, in particular the teamwork amongst the KPF's, is way off. Too many times they're all leading to the same spot, dragging their defenders to the marking contest as opposed to one leading in a different direction - which at the very least could create indecision in opposition defences.

Sam Weideman re-signs until 2023
Played very well in the two 2018 MCG finals, had a solid block of form last year before Luke Jackson tore his hamstring which left Sam as the only key forward. However, his recent form has been really disappointing. Hope he can turn it around.

If Ben Brown doesnt play the rest of the year
It won't help him if he's consistently playing from behind against blonde haired defenders.

Nathan Buckley Steps Down as Collingwood Coach
Yes, it can get a bit much, won't be long until we start hearing this kind of drivel... 'We want to create an environment where players are empowered to take carriage of scoring goals, and/or restricting opponents from doing so, in a manner that is consistent with our positive and gender-fluid values.'

Nathan Buckley Steps Down as Collingwood Coach
Fun thought for the day, Buckley turns round and runs for Collingwood president.

What they're saying down at Lulie Street
Good point you make @binman...although to me it seems like a long time ago, such has been Petracca's consistency.

What they're saying down at Lulie Street
The 25k radius might stop them but it might not, for a Pie supporter 'radius' is a big word to comprehend.

University research on fans' views of racism in the AFL
Survey done. Which reminds me that it is possible to be gender-fluid and retain a dry sense of humour.

Blues Blues
To flip one of their old rallying cries on its head... 'I can smell them going'.

Training Ground?
Wow, that IS dedication to the cause.

POSTGAME: Rd 12 vs Brisbane
Careful, make sure you compare on games played and not age. After-all, the injections were carried out at an anti-ageing centre.

POSTGAME: Rd 12 vs Brisbane
Another win that builds genuine self-belief in the playing group. Brisbane were excellent in the first half and I was genuinely concerned at half time. Really impressed with the way we came back, especially the overlap running. Bring on the Pies.

Consider him as a 'warm-up act'.

AFL Mid Season Draft 2021
Come finals time 2-3 extra goals could make all the difference, so let's draft their umpires.

COACHES VOTES: Rd 11 2021
No. With his complexion he'd just end up looking like a pimple.

Where will we play the Lions?
Thanks for that @bing181, got mine booked for Wednesday. Feeling far less anxious about it now.

COVID & AFL 2021
Average Sydney person: Get up. Go to 5 different BBQ stores. Only 1 coffee break, BUT make is a 'super spreader' event. Over coffee, decide on which one of the BBQ stores you want to buy. Go home.

COVID & AFL 2021
Clearly this is GOD punishing the AFL for not committing sufficient resources towards quality umpiring.

Try and entice him over with the strong prospect of forming a premiership winning midfield.
