  1. Also, if the Bombers we so sure this would happen, why the hell did they obfuscate so much? Why the federal court case to try to invalidate the process? I. Just. Don't. Get. It.
  2. Sure it may have been hard to prove, but shouldn't it be there along with the other notes. Something like "The tribunal is comfortably satisfied that the players did not intend to take any banned substances". I'm just not sure how to read into it that intent isn't even mentioned given Lees got 2 years for it.
  3. Interesting. Let us know if he says anything. I am astounded that the reasoning does not state anything about intent at all given the Lees case.
  4. Note sure I understand this reasoning: I thought ASADA only had to prove intent to consume TB4? The above implies that they couldn't reach comfortable satisfaction that they were administered it. No mention of intent? Didn't Wade Lees get done on intent?
  5. Here we go: Chris Kaias @ChrisKaias Follow ASADA have 21 days to appeal the verdict. WADA have 21 days further than that. So, #ASAGA possibly over in 42 days.
  6. Yeah mate, all we need to do is store them in a green house so we can pretend they were damaged by sun light.
  7. It'll be very interesting to hear the ASADA/WADA statements now.
  8. They have 21 days from now to lodge an appeal I believe, but the players can play during the appeals process now as the tribunal has cleared them.
  9. Holy [censored]. Another 2? Wow. Just wow.
  10. Will we actually know the result at 2 pm though? My understanding is that the result will only be told to the parties by video link at 2 pm. So we'd have to wait for it to leak or for an official announcement later today.
  11. That cheaters are now being caught as opposed to it being swept under the rug? I'm all for it.
  12. Yeah the HUN article says the players agreed for it to be made public.
  13. Watch them try to produce plane ticket stubs to Mexico and claim they ate bad beef.
  14. Yep. If they get that wet tram ticket, now the largest club in the land will have supporters with reason to cry foul. And cry they will, because foul they are.
  15. Lol. Collingroid. I like it.
  16. Yep. Article has been updated and it states that Clenbuterol is on the WADA banned list. Has to be 2 years for mine.
  17. That's good news, but a [censored] logo. Can't read it for crap. At least I could read HERTZ.
  18. We all know that rule will never get enforced. Such is the nature of the AFL beast. Can't wait to listen to Eddie on Triple M tomorrow though.
  19. I dunno, Crowley was pretty high profile. Watson is a 'star' I'd say, along with Heppel. It's just that because they are part of a group of 34 players, they aren't singled out.
  20. http://www.theage.com.au/afl/collingwood-footballers-lachy-keeffe-and-josh-thomas-face-positive-drug-test-20150330-1maznj.html Lachy Keefe and Josh Thomas apparently. Amazing stuff.
  21. Nope, you need a TV with dual tuners for that. Or a PVR. Thanks for the link, I'll check it out Edit: Here it is "The HDMI won't work because it has/enables copy protection." Damn foxtel are [censored]. So yeah, my method will work then, just substitute HDMI for basically any other kind of A/V cable. You'll have to check the back of your Foxtel box to see which ports it has other than HDMI. I see no reason why you couldn't use HDMI from the PVR to the TV though. Once the signal has gone through an old 'analogue' signal to the PVR (via component/SCART), there won't be any copy protection to stop you using HDMI from the PVR to TV. Having said that, there's no advantage to it either, since it won't make the signal better. Just easier to use I guess.
  22. It's funny, I've seen multiple posters talk about this, some even posting the except from the WADA code that states it. But I hear nothing about it from the media. I'm comforted by the WADA chief saying that the code is fine for team sports. Implies to me that they will use the clause you're talking about.
  23. Interesting, I can't think of any reason why it shouldn't. Unless Foxtel are really sneaky and use the HDMI connection to test what device it's plugged into, and if it's a PVR, refuse to output. Can you provide a link? I'm curious. But yeah the setup should work fine if you replace HDMI with one of the other outputs you mentioned. Another method may be simply recording with a smart TV. I bought a new sony tv a few months back and it can record anything currently on screen to a usb drive.
  24. It doesn't surprise me that Foxtel wouldn't tell you anything. They would already be dead if it wasn't for live sports, and they don't want people copying their content off their feed. I don't have Foxtel, but I assume you'd need a setup like the following: Foxtel box -> HDMI out to PVR -> HDMI out to TV Hit record on the PVR when whatever you want is on on Foxtel. I'm pretty sure that'll work.
