Class finish Salem. C'mon Dees!
-
First goal kicked by a Rivers since 2012! Well done Trent!
-
Smart tap by Hunt!
-
He does so many things right but can't quite finish when it counts. Lord help the team we're up against when he puts it all together.
-
Baker putting forward his case for 2021. Looking the goods tonight!
-
Fritsch clearly held Lever not paid the mark Freakish goal from GWS grumble...
-
That's a ridiculous finish by Trac!
-
What a goal! Great set up from Pickett and lovely finish from Spargo!

Our inability to adjust to the conditions never ceases to amaze. Who'd have thought that lightning quick chains of handballs don't tend to work all that well when its pelting down with rain?
-
Forget the Bulldogs game, this is worse than the Port game.
-
Bit hard when our forward 50 entries have been abysmal.
-
Spargo's started well today.
-
Nice finish Gus. God we needed that.

Smith on Papley

Kudos to Josh Wagner who looked impressive on return. Had a couple of early fumbles but was a solid contributor all night.

6. May 5. Petracca 4. Salem 3. Langdon 2. Oliver 1. HIbberd Honourable mentions to Viney (for shutting down Steele after half time), Rivers (seriously impressive youngster) and Wagner (thought he didn't do much wrong on return).
-
I'd happily trade another 4 first round draft picks for May. Holy (censored), this man can seriously play.
-
Another ripping set shot!
-
4 goals from 4 set shots. Great start from the Dees!
-
That's a ludicrous finish from Petracca.

Just finished watching the replay. Honestly, that was one of the better games I've seen Nathan Jones play since the Swans game last year where he snagged three. He only had the 16 touches on Saturday, but its great to see him back and contributing to the side. Not sure whether he goes on and plays in 2021 yet, but you can't deny he's playing his role quite nicely at the moment. Also, this play was vintage Jones.

Aside from one six goal game against the struggling Kangas, Bruce has been dreadful this year. You wouldn't think there'd be much chance of Bruce coming into a team that kicked 110+ points yesterday. His only shot might depend on the fitness of English who rolled his ankle at the end of yesterday's game and may not be 100% for this weekend. I think Macrae was rucking for them at times yesterday, so they could definitely use some extra assistance in that department.

Incredible talent, and I wouldn't put it beyond his capabilities to launch a Jayden Hunt esque torpedo, but considering the situation of match and despite how cliché it sounds, a simple drop punt to the top of the goal square was surely in order.

Has There Been A Better Recruit This Year Than Langdon?
Demon Jack replied to WERRIDEE's topic in Melbourne Demons
I've been really happy with how Langdon is progressing. How long has it been since we've had a proper winger running up and down the ground? Obviously, yes, his disposal isn't great, but I've noticed that if his kicks don't hit their target, they at least have a knack of finding players in space. Just needs to start nailing some of those goals he's been missing this season and he'll be right there as recruit of the year. EDIT: Out of curiosity, I checked Langdon's AFL stats page and believe it or not, he's actually tracking pretty close to 80% disposal efficiency this season!
