  1. Not one for the highlight reel there from the Tigers... Pressure from the Swans outstanding.
  2. Buddy is still a matchwinner on his day.
  3. The De Koning boys are going to fun to watch over the coming years. Both have a great pair of hands.
  4. Some highlights that just popped up on YT. Need to consider that the opposition was below average, but gee, JVR looks the goods!
  5. 6. Jack Viney 5. James Jordon 4. Kysaiah Pickett 3. Christian Petracca 2. Alex Neal-Bullen 1. Tom McDonald
  6. My biblical figure of choosing considering my devotion to the religion that is the MFC.
  7. 26 touches at 96% efficiency
  8. Eagles played super defensively after our fast start, so a 70+ point win is a terrific result. Huge credit to our smalls in ANB, Kozzy and Spargo who were all superb. Hope Harmes' injury isn't too serious. Thank Barassi for our current depth.
  9. Clipped version I found on YouTube. Love how Mayzie speaks. No straight bat being played here. Happy to be open about his career and setbacks.
  10. Still only 24... Genuinely scary.
  11. He's certainly been quieter than last year (especially today) but I haven't minded Fritsch's season so far. He's still on track for 40+ goals which would be a great return from a third tall. Also, I feel that he's been involved in setting up his teammates for goals a fair bit more this year. EDIT: Just checked the stats and Fritta is ranked third at the club for goal assists this year. Only behind ANB and Petracca.
  12. Great win! Saints have looked really good at times this year and Never really came close to us, even with their momentum in the third quarter (two goals to our one). Really looking forward to seeing how Salem fits back in the team when he's fit. Gus down back is playing career best football (may've played a career best game today) while Jordan keeps improving on the wing. Good problem to have! For those who were watching closely, did St Kilda ever try to shut down Langdon? Seems like they just let him do as he pleased which was surprising considering the effectiveness of Hawthorn's tagging efforts last week.
  13. McStay a big out for Lions with both Daniher and Hipwood on the sidelines. Rayner now taking on a big role up forward.
  14. Oh my goodness North Melbourne. That was comical.
  15. Gee, minus hitouts, you'd be happy if those stats came from one of your midfielders never mind a 6 ft 8 ruckman. Stats aside, if you look at his impact on games, It boggles the mind that Max is actually getting better. His ability to hit the scoreboard on a regular basis over the last two seasons has elevated him to a whole new level. Looking forward to the Gawn/Jackson vs Ryder/Marshall ruck battle this weekend. Probably the two best ruck combos in the competition at the moment.
  16. Gee, really have to wind the clock back here! After going through the fixtures, I think mine is round 22, 2019 (was only able to attend two games last year, both wins) where we played Sydney on a Friday night at the G. After kicking three goals in the first quarter, we went goalless for the next two before finishing on 5.12.42, marginally behind Sydney's 15.5.95.
  17. Almost forgot that he's out of contract at season's end and is eligible for free agency. It'll be interesting to see if he attracts any attention from other clubs. Fingers crossed he signs on the dotted line soon.
  18. What an absolute scrap! Well done Port. 4 goals 18 behinds speaks for itself.
  19. Even with our outs, I still think we get the job done reasonably comfortably. Lever and Viney are welcome returns not to mention Tmac who looked a class above in the VFL last weekend. It'll be interesting to see how Melksham is used today. Maybe a defensive forward role on Sicily?
  20. Petty has been outstanding in his first two games back. Loved his progression last year but he's gone to a new level so far this season. Easy to see why he's so highly rated internally.
  21. This team continues to astound. This was an ugly game, make no mistake. Our scoreline was hideous, our kicking into the forward line was largely out of character and we simply just looked out of sorts all night. However, even when this team operating at 40%, it's still enough to keep teams in check. That 5-10 burst in the third was all it took to put the result beyond doubt. Bowey for Prime Minister.
  22. 6. Oliver 5. Gawn 4. Langdon 3. May 2. Petty 1. Bowey
  23. Loved JJ's game this year. Has taken to the wing like a duck to water. He's a much better kick than I initially thought as well.
  24. Geelong kicking into gear now. Cameron could have a double digits sort of day if this continues
  25. Love the look of Schultz and Swikowski.
