  1. Another bag of 5 and he now has 31 goals on the season, just two behind the lead for the Coleman. While also averaging 20 disposals per game. Superstar.

Well we are loaded with big bodied ball winning mids, JR. Thats the only role Dom can play and hes about 10th in line. He will be in demand from other teams like the Bombers, Carlton and a few others, so we should strike whole the iron is hot. And may need to free up cash to land Gaff or another big fish we are into. - or who are into us.

Wow thats a big day indeed.
  5. Tomorrow. Buckle up.
  6. Would be awesome to see that one ticked off one day. We must be the only team left from the VFL era that doesn't have a 100 goal kicker in a season.

If they get a Demon midfielder it will be Tyson.
  8. Can only imagine the sort of filth you get up to at Northbridge in the wee hours of the morning, ET. And please don't reel off a list, this is a family forum.
  9. Demon for life. Watch out Neita, your goalkicking record might get knocked off by the Hulk.

We are 7-3 and footy is so good at the moment... but its hard not to get excited about the possibility of Gaff coming to us. It really feels like it will happen, or that its at least very realistic. 2019 (and beyond) midfield Oliver - Viney - Brayshaw - Petracca - Jones - Salem - Hogan - Gaff - Fritsch - Spargo - Harmes - ANB Scary! Like the Geelong triple premiership teams who had a midfield that batted 12 deep that was unstoppable, and untaggable... but ours would be even more dangerous due to the likes of Hogan, Tracca, Spargo and Fritsch who could go forward and tear a game open. Oliver will soon prove to be a dangerous goalkicker too who can rest forward and menace teams.. the evolution is coming. Even if we dont get Gaff we will still be downright frightening. Yeah, get excited folks.

You left out the one who knows the inner workings of the club better than anyone and whos sources are as good as it gets. Hes the only one who knows if Gaff is coming or not... and not even Gaff himself knows. Paging him now @Satyriconhome

Our midfield is probably already the best in the comp and thats with all the elite young talent yet to play anywhere near 100 games of footy. The improvement to come will be scary. If you add in Gaff to that.... whats the level above scary?
  13. Nearest the pin, how many goals will Jesse end up kicking in 2018? Currently on 26 goals in 10 games. I'm going with 71.... reckon he will kick a a few big bags in the back half of the season. Thats just for the home and away season , if we play finals (which its looking like we will) he could give 80 a crack.

I'd be staggered if that were true.. would take some really creative accounting and a lot of our players taking below market value.

I saw Werridee posted and I assumed you had posted our best 22 for next season with Gaff in the side. So disappointed!
  16. God bless the 2012 mini draft.
  17. Great job and great resource. Tim Bull Smith out of contract... get the mad man signed up!

Will win at least two of those. Port we will annihilate
  19. Kane Cornes could only fit two Demons in the AFL.com team of the week. http://www.afl.com.au/news/2018-05-29/kane-cornes-team-of-the-week-r10-who-makes-it Hes usually pretty spot on, but he was way off on this. Hibberd, Oliver, Jetta, Lever, Viney and Gawn all robbed. Yes we should have had 8 players in there after that masterful performance.
  20. Screw the media, they're irrelevant.
  21. And he leads the league in goal assists. Should be in the All Australian discussion, his impact on games is huge.
  22. Need a new thread for the records we are breaking ourselves.

Gawn and Hogan missing half the season each was the reason for that. They lead us contested marks per game this season again. (T Mac third).

Thats incredible. I notice we are 18th in the league in bounces. We have had 34 bounces all season compared to Esenedon with a league leading 109. St Kilda and the Doggies are in the top 5. Again proving that speed is largely irrelevant in the AFL. Ball movement is king.
  25. I actually chuckled a few times at how he just went after the ball, bulldozing through multiple Crows players and they couldn't do a thing about it. He decided he wanted the footy so he just went in and got it in a sea of players. Like he just said '[censored] it, I may as well hit top form second game back from a long layoff'.
