One of the worst users of the footy in the entire competition. Not worth anywhere what the Saints will ask for him.
-
Have a look who is our 2nd worst player this season for 'disposal efficiency'. https://www.footywire.com/afl/footy/tr-melbourne-demons?year=2018&rt=TA&st=EP Only the best kick in the team who sets up goals all game with his laser foot. They need to find out another method to measure that stat. It is never reflective of what happens on the field.
-
No doubt hes a good player but if we get him hes going to frustrate a lot of supporters with his average at best foot skills.
-
We can rest him later in the season in the Grand Final, he will be knackered from the Prelim, hes only 18 after all.
-
Huge chance for Pedders to come in and cement his spot as that 3rd tall forward/relief ruck. Hes been in red hot form in the VFL. Hope he plays out of his skin the rest of the season and is part of our finals campaign. With teams having to put so much time and resources into stopping Hogan and T Mac, the Peddertron may get off the chain.
-
Didnt Pedders get knocked out at the end of the VFL game? Thats a fair recovery if so.
-
Kent played well in his two appearances before doing his hammy. He can break back in and I reckon he will. GarlettI I would have third in line for the small forward role behind Kent and Spargo.
-
Was that an idea from another poster or something confirmed from Goodwin? Weid has never played back, he should surely be tried there at Casey first if at all.
-
Way better than Slobbos train wreck of a team. Hes a good samaritan making every other journo look like experts. So selfless. Having said that 5 Eagles is ridiculous, and Jetta robbed again. Also, Darling will be replaced by T Mac in the 2nd half o the season.
-
Easily, especially with Lewis and Vince likely done at seasons end. Go read the Dockers forum - they are in love with Langdon and want him signed to a long term extension ASAP. Hes one of their few bright spots.
-
Trac is playing his role well... motoring along as a nice cog in the machine without any spectacular games or BOG's... seems to be playing as a high half forward, where he was more a mid the first month of the season. Probably spending less time in the midfield than he would like during our winning streak. Would love to see him explode on Queens Birthday with a massive 30 disposal, 5 goal game in a huge Demon victory. Its also his 50th game .

Disagree DV8... in 3 years time our core group of young gun mids (Oliver, Brayshaw, Salem, Viney, Petracca, Fritsch, Hogan, Harmes, Spargo, ANB etc etc) will all be in the 60 -150 bracket. Our midfield will be much, much better than what it is now once they are more experienced.
-
Would be good if we could isolate Howe by dragging him deep into our forward line (Like that the Pies did to Rivers all those years ago). He would get murdered one on one v T Mac and Hogan.
-
Hes a good player who wins a lot of the ball. More of an outside player who would compliment our big ball winnings mids. Hes doing well at Freo but would go to another level in a great midfield as the icing on the cake and outside run. I would take him for sure. Lewis and Vince are almost done and Jonesy is just into his 30's... we must continue bringing in talent and midfield depth. And at 22 Langdon is the same age as our mountain of young talent coming through. If the club know they arent getting Gaff, this may be the backup plan as he does look a bit like Gaff 2.0.

Yup, Max is now 2nd favorite for the Brownlow.. but thats not enough for Slobbo. The guy knows nothing about footy. I do not believe his brain can retain information. His learning ability is at simian level, perhaps worse. He is an extremely low IQ individual.
-
Gawn missing out is laughable. So is Lance Franklin being in the team. Hogan would be just about first forward picked but hes on the bench. Jetta robbed. At least he didnt put an Essendon player in there... im shocked he didnt.

Missed one that happened a mere 3 games ago, SM.

Calling it now... We will find someone to fill the Lever role over the next 12 weeks (Weid, J.Smith?) and that player will excel, allowing Lever will come back bigger and better than ever in 2019 and reinvented as a key forward. Hogan - T Mac - Lever . .. boy oh boy wowee good luck to opposition sides trying to stop that.
-
Can not imagine Weideman playing as a key backman. Just doesn't look like it would suit him. But Jetta was reinvented as a gun back, T Mac as a gun forward. So I am open to anything and I will back the coaching staff in all the way on whatever they try.

Hogan has only kicked 4 less goals than brown, despite Brown parking himself in the Roos forward 50 all game. Hogan averaging 20 disposals and dominating all over the park to go with his 31 goals. Hes a way better player than brown... in fact Judd said on Footy Classified last night that Hogan is the best player in the comp at the moment. But thats irrelevant to the AA team - Hogan and Brown arent fighting for 1 position. Hogan could be named in any of the 6 forward spots .. Brown is a full forward only, and if hes not careful could be displaced by Josh Kennedy whos still kicking a lot of goals and climbing the Coleman leader board fast.

This guy has earned a very nice pay day.
-
Garry Lyon On The Couch last night was asked to pick his All Australian backline, and Gerard Healy said surely Jetta will be in there.. he wasn't. Garry then explained he wanted him in there but Jetta wasn't in the 40 man squad he was given to choose from. Which i assume was the squad from that joke of a Fox article.

Tyson and Garlett for Wines Bad luck Port, you will have no bargaining 'power' when Ollie decides to come to the rising powerhouse that is the Melbourne Football Club.
