Match Preview and Team Selection - Round 12
Huge chance for Pedders to come in and cement his spot as that 3rd tall forward/relief ruck. Hes been in red hot form in the VFL. Hope he plays out of his skin the rest of the season and is part of our finals campaign. With teams having to put so much time and resources into stopping Hogan and T Mac, the Peddertron may get off the chain.

Kent and vandenBerg
Kent played well in his two appearances before doing his hammy. He can break back in and I reckon he will. GarlettI I would have third in line for the small forward role behind Kent and Spargo.

WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - ED LANGDON
Easily, especially with Lewis and Vince likely done at seasons end. Go read the Dockers forum - they are in love with Langdon and want him signed to a long term extension ASAP. Hes one of their few bright spots.

Disagree DV8... in 3 years time our core group of young gun mids (Oliver, Brayshaw, Salem, Viney, Petracca, Fritsch, Hogan, Harmes, Spargo, ANB etc etc) will all be in the 60 -150 bracket. Our midfield will be much, much better than what it is now once they are more experienced.

Changes v Collingwood
Would be good if we could isolate Howe by dragging him deep into our forward line (Like that the Pies did to Rivers all those years ago). He would get murdered one on one v T Mac and Hogan.

WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - ED LANGDON
Hes a good player who wins a lot of the ball. More of an outside player who would compliment our big ball winnings mids. Hes doing well at Freo but would go to another level in a great midfield as the icing on the cake and outside run. I would take him for sure. Lewis and Vince are almost done and Jonesy is just into his 30's... we must continue bringing in talent and midfield depth. And at 22 Langdon is the same age as our mountain of young talent coming through. If the club know they arent getting Gaff, this may be the backup plan as he does look a bit like Gaff 2.0.

All Australian watch
Hogan has only kicked 4 less goals than brown, despite Brown parking himself in the Roos forward 50 all game. Hogan averaging 20 disposals and dominating all over the park to go with his 31 goals. Hes a way better player than brown... in fact Judd said on Footy Classified last night that Hogan is the best player in the comp at the moment. But thats irrelevant to the AA team - Hogan and Brown arent fighting for 1 position. Hogan could be named in any of the 6 forward spots .. Brown is a full forward only, and if hes not careful could be displaced by Josh Kennedy whos still kicking a lot of goals and climbing the Coleman leader board fast.

Garry Lyon On The Couch last night was asked to pick his All Australian backline, and Gerard Healy said surely Jetta will be in there.. he wasn't. Garry then explained he wanted him in there but Jetta wasn't in the 40 man squad he was given to choose from. Which i assume was the squad from that joke of a Fox article.

If we get Wines we are going 25-0 next season. This is not hyperbole. We would have quite literally the greatest midfield ever assembled.- Changes v Collingwood
Anxious, well thats totally normal Jane. They are playing pretty well and will roll us if we dont come ready. But I wont be surprised if we win by 10 goals tbh.- Changes v Collingwood
I hope nobody here is fearing the Pies after their weekends game. Take out Fyfe and Neale and that Freo team was WAFL level.- AFL.com Player Ratings
Our players are moving up Oliver 12 Gawn 18 T McDonald 34 Still cant work out why Hogan is so low (245 and rising), when Gawn also missed a lot of games last season. Hibberd also very low, but his suspension might have covered part of that 40 game period, Also, Fritsch is 2nd among first year players.- 2018 Membership Thread
We will overtake the Dogs this week .... maybe even today.- Changes v Collingwood
I've gone cold on Frost (pardon the pun). In - J.Smith Out - Lever Weid for T Smith if his neck keeps him out. Joel Smith has the tools to play the halfback intercept role very well, and we have Fritsch and Harmes who can help out back there if needed. Backs - N.Jetta - O.McDonald - M.Hibberd Half backs - J.Lewis - J.Smith - J.Harmes Centres - B.Fritsch - C.Oliver - A.Brayshaw Half forwards - J.Melksham - T.McDonald - C.Petracca Forward - A. Neal Bullen - J.Hogan - T.Smith Rucks - M.Gawn - N.Jones - J.Viney Bench - B.Vince - C.Spargo - M.Hannan - C.Salem Lets get it on.- All Australian watch
