  1. It dragged on for years, the club are now known as Essendrug (at least thats what I call them). Their favorite son Hird left in disgrace and may never return. Half their team was suspended by WADA. This stuff will linger for a long time. They are shambles right now. Drug and culture stuff aside I don't rate their list either, their midfield is putrid and they have wasted their top picks on small mids who don't get their hands dirty. Reminds me of Melbournes drafting circa 2008-2013.
  2. The drug stuff will haunt them for years. You cant just put something like that behind you so easily as a club or as a player. Any player who stayed at Essendon after all that made a huge mistake. Theres every chance it has ruined their culture for good
  3. Fritsch is already a better player than him. Prove me wrong.
  4. Bloody hell I just read hes 18.. doesn't turn 19 until November. So he will play of 2019 as a 19 year old. His age and size make his physical play even more impressive. Amazing stuff.
  5. He couldn't picked a bigger tosspot to do it to either. Spargo - automatic cult hero.
  6. Oscar has been immense all season and just held Daniher goalless. Flogged the pants off him. How about an apology from Gary Lyon who a couple of weeks ago incorrectly stated Oscar was struggling and needed to lift. He clearly doesn't watch Melbourne games.
  7. http://www.melbournefc.com.au/video/2018-04-29/rd-6-charlie-spargo-postmatch Post match interview with the Sparg plug
  8. We have played as badly as we can and are still 3-3. Viney back soon. T Mac is back. Trac back in vs Saints at Etihad where we never lose. The medium sized forward trio of Hannan-Fritsch-Melksham are starting to gel and will cause matchup nightmares for opponents. Spargo. We will win the flag.
  9. A video showreel on afl.com for your debut game, not a bad effort. http://www.afl.com.au/match-centre/2018/6/ess-v-melb
  10. Very nice debut from the kid!
  11. Doubt it, hes a tough little nugget.
  12. Between the camp and this McCartney stuff and the second putrid performance in a row, looks like the club is in turmoil again. Happy to be proven wrong but we have been woeful, and we weren't even good in our two wins.
  13. You're utterly deluded, chap.
  14. Yes, keep name calling other members. Its really helping deflect from your constantly incorrect statements and the fact you have no clue about the club.
  15. Looks like Saty owes an apology to the 'nuff nuffs'. Once again he is spectacularly wrong. Embarrassing stuff.
  16. Thats B Mac alright.
  17. Does anyone have a link to any replays? Now I wanna see if B Mac has already been sitting on the bench. Is it fake news, is the sky falling or neither?
  18. He has had a great start to 2018. Just turned 22 as well so still finding his feet... I could never understand the negativity toward him on here, its almost as if people just ignored the fact he as a very young inexperienced KPD. Big fan.
  19. Does he have his old mans talent? The only thing I can think of more exciting than drafting a Wiz Junior would be if we recruited Allen Jakovich Junior
  20. He was the most exciting part of that first quarter, he looked fantastic.
  21. MELBOURNE Player Injury Estimated Return Tom McDonald Toe 4-5 weeks Pat McKenna Hamstring Indefinite Aaron vandenBerg Ankle Indefinite Jack Viney Foot 4-5 weeks Updated: Tuesday, April 10 We are doing very well in the injury front despite missing two guns for another month or so.
  22. If he keeps this up we will have to start talking Brownlow. 21 possies and 3 goals per game so far with maximum impact.
  23. Did you really have to bump that prediction of mine.... urghhhhhhh.
  24. Cheating big time here as we are three games in, but I predict that if we hold our spot in the top 4 we will end up having four players in All Australian team - Max Gawn, Jeff Garlett, Jesse Hogan, Clayton Oliver
  25. The play form Fritsch at 2:28 was superb. http://www.afl.com.au/video/2018-04-07/highlights-melbourne-v-north-melbourne
