  1. NO LATE CHANGES FINAL INTERCHANGES Melbourne: Ben Newton, Alex Neal-Bullen, Josh Wagner, James Harmes Port Adelaide: Brad Ebert, Karl Amon, Jared Polec, Nathan Krakouer The Power are carrying some sore players, we must hit them hard.
  2. Trnegove might not be playing so Dixon might have to play ruck
  3. For sure ha has, and just on stats alone has him covered just about everywhere. http://www.footywire.com/afl/footy/ft_player_compare?playerStatus1=A&tid1=14&playerStatus2=A&tid2=12&type=A&pid1=3801&pid2=3820&fid1=S&fid2=S
  4. Nearly fell off my chair when I saw that. Wow. Thats a team of players that have played less than 1.5 seasons an average. Makes the turnaround all the more remarkable, an I hope next loss we have the supporters put things in perspective and acknowledge we are way ahead of he curve.
  5. Yup, we have selected the right team for the task. Bringing in Dawes for a runner will be a bad idea.
  6. Same thing happened when we played Pies, Tigers and Suns. There was late money for all three teams. And we smashed all three.
  7. Wattsy rag-dolling Hoges like hes nothing. And has Hoges shaved his hair off or am I seeing things?
  8. He still young too, we will get another 120+ games out of him. Thanks Carltank
  9. That would be awesome, I said a couple of weeks ago he would be the next Demon to debut (yeah I know not really going out on a limb) Dont see how hed fit into the team this week however
  10. Good news for us. He will go to water against our pressure.
  11. LOL There are more touches of Geelong about the young Demons. The frenetic movement of the ball. A collection of medium-sized forwards who will lead back to goal, while a key target, in this case Matthew Bate, plays the hit-up centre half-forward role, leading hard and straight up the ground. Ricky Petterd and Colin Sylvia play roles similar to the Cats' Paul Chapman and Steve Johnson, better overhead than their size would indicate but just as capable at ground level, while Brad Green, much like Jimmy Bartel, can pick up a swag of possessions midfield then creep forward to provide another dangerous goalkicking target. Melbourne's defence, while having looked the most promising part of its rebuilding, took another huge step forward on Saturday night via James Frawley and Matthew Warnock's efforts on Jonathan Brown and Brendan Fevola, respectively. Like Geelong's key defenders, Frawley is mobile and smart enough to pick up his own touches, too, while the incredibly composed Jack Grimes and valuable pick-up Joel Macdonald perform the defensive playmaking parts the Cats assign to Andrew Mackie and Corey Enright. Aaron Davey is Melbourne's linkman as Gary Ablett is to the Cats, his pace and beautiful disposal turning defence into attack in the blink of an eye, the Demons' leg speed generally allowing plenty of overlap coming through the centre square.
  12. I think we will get Prestia, no idea what we can trade for him though without a first round pick.
  13. Are you going around to all the team forums defending him? Just so you know, supporters from all teams think he is a joke. Cheers.
  14. According to DemonAndrew in the Tom Mac thread, Greg Denham just stated on SEN that Hogan is not far away from re-signing with the Dees Wouldn't put it past Venom top just be torturing the MFC faithful though !
  15. Oh god not these kind of articles. Its all downhill from here folks
  16. VFL player review Trenners, Mitch White, Dawes and Grimes. Might see at least two of those come in.
  17. That deserves multiple awards for literary excellence. Just magical.
  18. Lets have a nearest the pin I predict he signs the week of the Freo game and extends an extra 3 years on top of his current contract, taking him to the end of 2020.
  19. Dont see any Fyfe in him at all. I see a strange and wonderful A.Jakovich-M.Ricciuto hybrid
  20. We will get one of them then. No way are Mahoney, Goodwin, PJ and Roosy going to be trumped by Ninthmond
  21. Get him back to the MFC, we need a replacement for Roos footy knowledge
  22. Good to hear the club is standing firm, pay him what he is worth and not a cent more. And then hope like hell he improves, cos he has stalled big time and his kicking /decision making is still bad.
