GAMEDAY - Round 8
From the AFL site: "Melbourne has stretched the lead to 32 points at the final change after a tighter quarter. The Demons have entered forward 50 on 63 occasions, already above their season full game average (57.7) and the most by any team to three-quarter time this year. " One day this team will click ... hopefully I am alive to see it

GAMEDAY - Round 8
welcome back .. everyone that quarter was a roller coaster From the AFL site: Melbourne surrendered the lead during the quarter but take a 22-point lead to half time. The Demons have gone inside forward 50 on 45 occasions, the highest half time tally by the club on record and by any team since Adelaide in Round 10 2017.

Round 8 Non MFC games
Blues hit the front late in the third quarter. The Bomber equivalent of the Richmond microwave could be warming up !

Which of our young stars will end up our best player
yeah but if he kicked as well as he handballs he could be a legend. That is not a criticism of his level of play at present which is very good but it is a fact and this thread is about who will be the best.

Round 8 Non MFC games
the glorious thing is that a win against Carlton by a small margin will be seen by the Bomber supporters as almost a loss while still depressing the Carlton crew. Not sure what a draw would do for the respective phsyches? God I fear a round 23 repeat next week.

GAMEDAY - Round 8
when teams go defensive as Carlton did last year and Suns may do today, our game plan does not stand up very well as we just end up with a super crowded forward line from which the other side escapes occasionally and scores. Hopefully as in last week we relax the press a little and open up our forward line to allow it to function.
