  1. Wonderful win ... we beat the four teams that we were expected to beat but what was good was that we are demonstrably improving as a team. Hogan playing up the ground together with the purple patch being enjoyed by Gus Brayshaw has been wonderful to watch. Fritsch seems to be growing in confidence by the week. Kudos of course to so many others including Lever and Tom Mac who have contributed to the last four wins. Lots to like and I will be disappointed if we cannot win the next three and turn at the bye at 8-3. Go Dees The QB game could be a 85k crowd if Pies win the next two. (mind you..hope they lose both).

No changes is my guess but there are three areas for discussion. 1. If Bernie Vince is suspended.. who replaces him.. not sure 2. Does Gawn need more help in the ruck in Alice Spring conditions and are we prepared if necessary to use Tom Mc.... my thought is no change but you can make a case for either Weid or Pedersen replacing Smith who if dropped would be very unlucky. IMO the selectors made the Smtih over Pedersen call this week and they will be happy to roll that dice again. 3. Did Spargo do enough?... not sure but if he is to be rested I would play Bugg before Garlett on VFL form but who knows.
  3. Looks like they may just do that !!
  4. 6. Jones 5. Melksham 4. Lever 3. Tom McDonald 2. Gawn 1. Fritsch Great team effort

Strong second quarter. Repeat that in the third and we can enjoy the final quarter. Jones playing well. I thought brayshaw was quiet that quarter after a strong first quarter

Let's hope we can get some scoreboard reward this quarter. Clearly the better team in that quarter

Looking good... need to put it on the scoreboard. Lots of blues supporters. Need to silence them

According to the match report Garlett played in the mid field yesterday against Frankston which may go some way towards explaining why his outside burst around goals was absent.

50 point win today... hope it is stress free. May be the only big win we get for a few weeks so I look forward to enjoying it
  17. Thanks Guys... wonderful job
  18. Swans v Freo from an MFC viewpoint .. hard to pick I'm barracking for the draw Go Saints !!!
  19. Respect what you say Toad and please post anytime. Balic has the body of a footballer and seems to have some ball finding ability. He's one to watch .. not saying he will make it.. but he is certainly one of the five or six most likely. IIRC he has a one year contract which I suspect will be soon renewed. If anyone gets a look in next week my guess is Bugg for Spargo (rest or form)
  20. not on in Melbourne.. The wedding on most channels and mythbusters on Mate
  21. of course it is slightly overshadowed by the Chinese Royal wedding watchers (or some similar excuse). Will be interesting to see which club is offered up as the sacrificial lamb next year. Freo and West coast are closer travel wise but no way will either of them give up a home game.
  22. Nice result for us if Essendon beat the Cats ... assuming we do the right thing tomorrow.
  23. Now at $750 towards a target of $3k. Come on guys and gals .. every little bit counts. We all know how good this site is.

  25. in fairness the seats are at either end so the TV cameras on the wing don't pick up what I am sure is a sell out
