  1. I agree, I pay premium dollars to sit with MFC members and always have opposition numpties invited to Chairman’s functions and then get seats in MFC premium area!
  2. I would hate to be an administrator at the MFC! Poor sods who have to look after sponsors, get new sponsors, etc etc. It must be a nightmare for our behind the scenes team trying to keep this club financially afloat! If we lose to bummers it’s curtains! Membership will again grind to a halt.
  3. Finals....hahahahaha! MCG is not our home anymore, it means nothing to this group who continue to play Shyte there. What’s the plan folks? Any ideas? Scarf back in the drawer for another year? Our brand? What is it? Any ideas? we are worse than last year to watch! Going backwards again! Must be time for another rebuild!
  4. Well that was another stinker on the big stage! I brought some guests hoping this club would stand up. Skills were D grade, game plan is simply atrocious, and what brand is Jackson talking about? We do not have a BRAND!!!! Here is the MFCs rightful place in the bottom half of the ladder! What is the point of having one of the best ruckman when our midfield cannot get the pill? Another round of football another week of misery for this clubs supporters. The MFC has recruited so called A Graders......where are they? It stinks Jackson....it stinks! Another year going down the drain very fast. Im giving it away for a few weeks, emotionally out of gas. Tired....very tired with pathetic football from a club that does not have any answers and continues to dwell in misery.
  5. If MFC does not get our backside into gear and win a couple soon we are in deep poo. Sides not expected to make 8 are doing much better than us. Finger out of bum time for this club.
  6. Pederson must come in. As for the game I will be there with little or no expectation of winning. We do not intimidate any teams! The perception is real, we do not hurt sides and get bullied too easy.
  7. With a disorganised midfield poor Gawny is wasted.
  8. Back where we belong around the 10 to 12 mark on the ladder. Any higher and we are out of our comfort zone. Richmond and Essendon will rip us new ones and that will be our 2018! All talk, no serious advancement. Story of a MFC supporters lot.
  9. 12 years of misery and we still are waiting. Meanwhile professional clubs and players continue to march on while we accept putrid mediocrity.
  10. This is the Gold medal team in the AFL for disappointing its supporters and I can only say that I still cannot trust this club to do it right. They put the cue in the rack without any fight today. That in itself is putrid in my book. Posted for years and still cannot see us as a serious team. They rip your heart out!
  11. Yep we will, and with a short break we play bummers at Etihad. Every chance we will have lost 3 in a row after that. This club, this team never take their chances, and as such will forever be media fodder. OUT MelkSHAM, he has done nothing.
  12. Soft as butter
  13. Make a big statement and drop lever! As for other changes IDGAF! Again we are a very untrustworthy team.
  14. Brayshaw for Salem. The thing I clearly notice, Goodwin praises the team far too much. They go missing in almost every game for far too long. Easily the most frustrating team to praise too early because they predictably drop off. Goodwin might go hard in private, however on match day he seems slow to react to oppo run ons. My wish is that this group play 4 quarters consistently. Heart attack team to watch!
  15. Please stick to the title of thread! Nice to hear what’s happening at this Camp, not all the self indulgent drivel.
  16. That idiot Treadway from Adelaide on MMM gave his votes to 2 PA players and Hibberd. Did not even rate Clarry! One of the true dumb brainless airhead to come out of Adelaide.
  17. It's all a bit tiresome going to the G at this time to watch our club. I'm not enjoying the football we dish up there, and frankly the club seems to still be irrelevant in the media and elsewhere.
  18. Yes we need players who will stand up in the dying minutes to inspire us to win. Where are they? Our backline still looks totally unorganised and frightful when the heat is on. Hibberd was great, but again TMac seems to poo himself and find himself out of position at crucial times. He is in the leadership group, about time he showed significant improvement in this area. Our young guys are travelling well, it's the guys who have been around for a few years who let us down in leadership. we just don't seem to have at this stage players who inspire and drag the group over the line. Actually losing Max was crucial not only for his ruck work, he is a good leader.
  19. This is a very good topic for many reasons, however the most important question needs to asked. Nathan Jones has been our Captain for a number of years, yet we are now rudderless unless Lewis is in the team to lead. Where does this leaves Jones, and the rest of the leadership group? I will tell you.....Jones has been a warrior in a sustained period of club disaster on field, and Jones in my opinion has proven to be a poor leader during periods when we needed composure to win games. If the club cannot win without Lewis's leadership - then the club is in strife. I love Jonesy as a player, but it's time others stepped up onfield to lead, otherwise we are stuffed. Lewis brings success, leadership and experience, but WTF are others doing? Jones and Viney need to step up and lead by example. Not just rely on Lewis to do it all.
  20. Have heard the coaches believe he is not accountable for a senior player, does not set right example to young guys. Card marked.
  21. Like it or lump it, highly skilled AFL players in the modern era have clubs, supporters and the game itself in a squirrel grip!! I keep hearing everybody needs to bend over for the modern footballer...lets hope the Dee's and the institution that gives these guys a living gets a good break with Jesse. This club needs a good break after the last 10 years of rot.
  22. Jesse is doing the right thing with new bargaining agreement in the pipeline. He has only played 20 games, I am not panicking because we will have Roos, Jackson and Goody who will do everything in their power to sign him to the club long term. Peter Jacksons most important task before he leaves us is to sign up all our young stars on long term contracts. Otherwise all his work to date will be in vain. in PJ we trust!
  23. Yeah much nicer climate if you enjoy stinking hot summers for 8 months a year. Perth is good if you can withstand the extreme heat and cost of living. Personally I prefer Melbourne lifestyle with much more choice and cheaper eating out.
  24. Disposal is putrid......either improve this part of your game Tom or you will be another MFC player lost and forgotten about.
