CASEY: Rd 17 vs Frankston
Be very surprised if he has either the fitness base or work ethic to run through the midfield

Joke that Essendon and top 4 can even be mentioned in the same sentence Pathetic pretenders and so good to see their season nosediving

Potential Father Son Prospect Noah Yze
Good summary Iād like to see home play for Casey a few more times as I think his output will improve with more game time at that level and a better understanding of his teammates and game plan Looks physically up to it which is quite impressive for a lad of that age

Kozzie Pickett - 100 games
The best small forward weāve had since the The Wiz Both sensational players but Kozzy has arguably more tricks due to his time in the midfield He is building consistently in output and tempering some of his aggression One of our very best and a great career so far He is a ripper

POSTGAME: Rd 18 vs Essendon
Unfortunately I havenāt had the pleasure of watching the game yet due to a family commitment last night but I came here to enjoy reading what other supporters took from this game Your constant bleating and repetition bashing one of our own players is both tedious and annoying You made your point known 50 posts ago - how about focusing more on the positives and understanding that the coach and FD will determine selection and team composition which in their far more more insightful view optimises our chances of winning every game May a politely suggest you become a tad more glass half full

"Very sore" Max Gawn in doubt for next Saturday vs Essendon
This simply highlights how desperate we should be to get a genuine strong back up ruck itās just unsustainable to rely on Max fronting up week after week Obviously we thought Fullerton could be the foil for Max but so far he looks a long way off being capable of what we need - if he is not playing this week with Max absent then that says a fair bit about how the FD are rating him atm If he does get a go letās hope he performs well as that would be a big boost to our short term prospects

Jake Melksham returning
Well I guess the mistake was taking it seriously

Someoneās misplaced their sense of humour - lighten up a bit

Jake Melksham returning
If itās forwards that canāt kick straight or consistently impact on the scoreboard we have a few to loan out

Too Predictable
So very harsh on Fritsch - arguably one of, if not, the most predictably good forwards in the last few seasons

How typically Melbourne Brodie Grundy
We probably need both to be fair Iād argue finding a big ruckman that can compete is way easier than finding a quality tall forward
-
How typically Melbourne Brodie Grundy
Didnāt Max kick 5 goals in our final against Geelong ? I think that may have persuaded a few that Max could be our Paul Salmon - alas it was not to be

How typically Melbourne Brodie Grundy
They probably Fullarton could offer more but the lack of a genuine replacement or back up for Max is a very big fail in terms of list management at this stage

How typically Melbourne Brodie Grundy
My 2 cents Grundy and infact the swans generally are having a nice run of form. Are they good enough to win the cup ? Personally I have my doubts still I think they are a really solid well drilled and coached footy team Grundy has his limitations and canāt jump, canāt mark in contested situations and rarely if ever goals. He is good at scrapping and blocking and following up with contest when the ball is on the ground. However he is pretty slow and his disposal skills are just ok Itās a shame that things didnāt work out at MFC with Brodie but we lost so much more losing LJ than Grundy make no mistake We do need a genuine back up for Max but that doesnāt need to be a 2x AA it needs to be someone physically capable of a strong contest against AFL quality rucks - I think thatās one of our big weaknesses atm

Trade Targets
I thought Johnson might be good too at one point - however his performances recently have been really poor and the fact he struggles to make the scumbags forward line without their regular marking forwards tells you plenty about how he is now seen internally

PREGAME: Rd 15 vs North Melbourne
If you consider the players that started our comeback in the 21 GF quite a few are either no longer there (LJ , Harmes) injured (Petracca, Lever , Viney?) terribly out of form (Oliver), early retirement (Brayshaw) or simply a few years older and not at their peak Its a significant shift and one that I think people overlook Take Brayshaw, Jackson, Petracca, Oliver and Lever out of the 2021 GF team and Iām 100% sure we donāt win š

NON-MFC: Round 14
The scum again by one point how utterly disgusting

NON-MFC: Round 14
Time to replay the 2021 GF perhaps Trac is thrown all over the place because is so good he can play basically any position - his consistency is pretty damn good Not saying Bont couldnāt play any position because heās that good he probably could too - fact is with their depth of forwards he doesnāt have to sit in front of incoming knees like Trac š¢
