  1. Ok on form in a team that's winning and with no one kicking the door down to get in he stays in indefinitel its amazing its even being spoken about. Last season and the one before he looked vulnerable because he needed to do more for a crepe team. He fits in just fine at present
  2. I suspect you mean " are far less articulate "
  3. A little kind but fair enough. I would say we look very vulnerable to good sides and still lack speed and basic ball skills. The " new " AFL game style doesn't suit us
  4. I suspect plenty of the school boys on here didn't see Jones when he couldn't kick straight but still managed to carry the team essentially on his own, for what seemed like decades. Best 23 should earn that fella a game every week for a while longer and give the spuds around here some time to do some historical MFC research after they've done their homework and chores for mum. At least he can slot a goal now and get in a chain instead of trying to do too much, even if its in the twilight ( smile )
  5. " some of" ." Most of" more likely If if wasn't for Hunt stinking up his run with his kicking we'd setting loose the hounds onto Brayshaw. Only Cam Bruce could kick more up and unders but he' d perfected the helicopter
  6. Oliver " Falls over " much Spargo can he smile? TMac 1 1/2 good seasons
  7. Its remarkable given the commitment and service Jones has given, carrying a crap team on his shoulders for about 15 years that he gets so little respect from the cheap seats on here. Obviously they want to get him to 300 games ( well duh) and he's only just best 22 but he's still going better relative to his best form than Neitz was when MFC gifted him his 300. Get rid of Spargo. Hes played his 2 good games for the year
  8. Frisco just needs a normal hair cut so he won't be embarrassed that everyone is looking at him

He could start by tapping to a mfc player more often rather the technically " to advantage "
  10. When he does get the ball he still mostly kicks it up in the air in the general direction that we are headed. That much hasn't changed and if he comes good then there will just be a lot more if that. Surely Jones is an automatic " in " (given theyre 2 zip ) for the next four or so games ; as he should be . He's still best 22 while Vanders, the only one who can miss a pass more often than Chunk, is best 30
  11. Can't get injured if you Don't go for a run
  12. What's going on here? This bloke is built like a footballer He'll never fit in
  13. When Trac can do in 30 touches what Dusty does in 25 then his name can go on the same page. Same with Oliver...if he can "win " a game with his 35 then he's a genuine A grader matching Dusty's 25 possessions and timely goals. Reality checks all round please

I looked that up on my high speed turnball inspired broadband cable internet DC...took me quite a while but I think you may be correct...about that at least

If a GC rider falls off the back tonight he could lose 15 minutes. Equally Cadel or Andy Schleck could ride themselves back into the race. But Froome,Contador or Quintana are the obvious ones to watch out for assuming a breakaway doesnt get to the foot of the climb with minutes in hand

  18. Melbourne today announced the targetting of the Hawthorn list and, in an apparantly associated development, the creation of a steering committee to evaluate designs for a new guernsey However sources at the club said that Mark Robinsons article, referred to by himself in tonights 360 tv show, that Don Scott and Gary Ayres had been approached with a view to a joint coaching appointment at the club, were probably not accurate

Andy doesnt do TT's and even though they say there wont be the same long TT stages next year Froome was super strong on all stages and the Sky team (even one down) was awesome... Andy vs Contador vs Sky could be a mighty battle

Thanks for your work Macca.......How good were Sky? The yellow jersey leading out Cavendish for his 4th final sprint win.and Froome......game set and match. Until next year at least

I dont understand this stuff and, as I said above, I suspect they all have done drugs at some stage of their career, but I do see Voekler is a zero and Michael Rogers measures a seven. Cadel and Wiggins at 4 and 5 isnt actually ringing alarm bells statisticaly and I have no doubt any Tour rider would read differently from myself. What they do for a living must make changes to a body that is probably already outside the normal range anyway. I suppose that is taken into account though I wonder how Sherpas would measure up?
  22. IRW replied to dee-luded's topic in Other Sports
With nothing to lose and being no threat to the GC it will be interesting to see if Cadel gives it a red hot go. The ruthless Sky boys wont bother to chase him...he's history.

Well thats it now..not even the podium for Evans. He's been outclassed in the TT's,in the mountains, tactically (very much imo) and in the make up of his "improved" team. Its all very well for him to shake his drug cheat mate Hincapie's hand at the end of the stage and thank him for his help but I dont recall him dragging a flagging Evans up the mts earlier or protecting his vain breakaway attempts when they might have had some meaning overall. As for the morons, they do look really really stupid dont they?Like a highway lined by Collingwood,Richmond and St.Kilda supporters.I guess standing beside a road for countless hours to see some bikes ride past briefly, very briefly, means you have to make your own fun.Its better than watching the Olympic Torch go past, but not much better I reckon. An event made for HD 3D wide screen TV if there ever was one

Its for another thread but there is an argument for letting them take what they want. In a world where we ogle women it could add a "freak show" aspect to the street, because they'd all look funny in certain ways....and maybe amateur sport would stage a revival in response.

Big night for Cadel to move to try for the podium by Paris. The descending supremecy that was boasted (talked) about before the Tour?
