...and the rest of us don't remember the last one other than what looked like a fat little fellah with a shocking kick just kicking the ball in the last couple of minutes for a goal and a real stumble bum running with the ball, bouncing it like there was no hope of it coming back to him and looking around to see if anyone was near him. I hope to remember all of this next one.

Yes this whole feeling was brought home to me in my sons (all five) reactions to my off handed way of saying that "there was always next year". or "another year of not getting to the Big Match. There was a real passion for the Club, Players and History there that i didn't know about.

Agree with this, and i think there would be a fair argument for saying that GWS would have won one maybe two Flags if Sheedy had not coached them. I think he chose the wrong mixture path, and i have thought it for a while.

I think Goody is looking very hard at Jeff Garlett for goals after WC won the Flag.

They will not make the same mistake with buying into the Tigers or Blues or maybe even Cats this coming season. They are all a downward trend and the chances of Tigers and Cats being like the Dogs is ever present. I reckon us and Pies (Cox) will be royalty, no pun intended, this year, 2019, and we haven't even unleashed our basket baller.........

I know this is the Hogan hullabaloo thread, but maybe there could deservedly be a JDG versus CP one as a stand alone. On the latter matter, twice this year, at least, i noticed JDG kick for goal (and miss, when there were better options) at a crucial stage in each game, one of which was a final. I would hate to think what this site would have done to CP in the same circumstances let alone our coaches . By far i would prefer CP. His instinctive nature is to the Team. The other's is to the crowd..........

These blokes must be on commission jobs. Preuss can kick goals, but has never had an opportunity at NM. Don't be surprised to see him do just that. May, can kick miles and goals. Don't be surprised to see him do that, and be angry to big heads like cats and pies. Kolo@#$@#$ can deliver the ball, needs to be fit, and will be good outside fit........ Wonder what he thought about how this year we finished third on the ladder, and where he thought we would finish!!! Amazing...
