Nice goal Jack.

I dislike Richmond and its supporters with a passion. I hope we give this game a red hot go. I am still miserable about losing to the Dogs on Saturday night. I know I need to move on but losing last week upset me more than any other game so far this year. We must win this week.

I was shattered by this loss. I really thought we should have won. The dogs had a lot go their way - fluke kicks that just bounced through, a great run with the umpiring and players that stood up when the game was there to be won. The hit on Terlich really upset me - happened just in front of me and it still freaks me out when these guys don't move for a few minutes. Lucky he landed left lateral. Hope he is ok. For some reason I felt more upset by this loss than any other game. Still upset this morning.

It says on the ticket to arrive at 4.30pm.

I love this site - read it every day. Being the only Dee supporter in a family of Pies and Roos supporters, you guys keep me in the loop and strangely enough sane and informed. I am a life member but happy to cough up some more$$.

Its a fantastic night. Last time I was very close to the centre of the MCG in the drizzle with my pink poncho on. What broke my heart was seeing loads of men, cradling a framed photo of a loved once who had succumbed to this terrible disease with tears running down their faces. Some of these guys were big, tough blokes all bought together with something in common. I locked eyes with the great Jimmy - will never forget that moment. Went along with my friend who was not a Melbourne supporter but a breast cancer sufferer in her mid 40's - her prime of life. She unfortunately lost her battle 18 months ago. My mum is battling this terrible disease at the moment. I will be there for her. Remember if you plan on coming, you need to get there early ( I think it is about 4.30pm) as it takes a bit of organising to get everyone on the field but it is truly the most amazing feeling when the put the picture of the pink lady up on the TV screen. I would crawl over broken glass to be there.

Have just come home from a wake. A family member who passed away was a Melbourne supporter - even though he never got to many games as he was a chef and ran a restaurant for a long time. (James McDonald was a regular). His family all support the Dees as well so over a vodka and a toast we sang "It's a grand old flag". I am sure he was upstairs smiling and singing along.

I remember that game. It was a cold, drizzly Friday night. I loved being on the field before the game - it was very emotional. I do remember finding it very difficult from the stands to see who was who.

I love the way he goes in hard and never gives up. Always has some sort of bandage on his head by the end of the game. He shows no fear. Love it that he is now a Demon.

I had a fantastic day at the G. Heaps of Melbourne supporters and I hardly have any voice tonight. Just finished watching the replay and totally stoked by our performance. Best day of the year for me so far. I'm loving that winning feeling. I received many text messages from friends who support other clubs and were rapt we won. I didn't realise Carlton were so universally disliked. Well done boys!
