Just got home from a great day at the G. Fantastic atmosphere and lots of Dee supporters around me made the win so enjoyable. I thought it was a great team effort. Devastated when Maysie went down right in front of me. Hope he is ok 🙏. He’s a tough nut but he will bounce back. Happy that the boys were not rattled like they have been on previous occasions when an important player went down. They just got on with business.

He was definitely down for quite awhile. Didn’t look good 😬

First game for the year for me. I can’t wait. Dragging my Pies supporting husband along. Hopefully he can watch a winning team this weekend for a change 😀

I will never ever go to another Collingwood game. I will never forget that as long as I live. I was at the game and surrounded by Pies supporters who looked like they had a total combined IQ of about 10 between them. I couldn’t stand it so left my seat and went and sat downstairs. I refused to talk to my husband for about a week and told him I will never, ever go to a Collingwood game with him ever again. This still makes my blood boil. I have not watched one minute of last years GF and never will. It make me feel sick to think that thug has a premiership medal.

I hope the karma bus runs that thug Maynard over this year. I’m still beyond angry about what happened last season. I will never, ever forget what he did.😡😡

Hope you are correct re the Pies. I could not stand another season of them winning again and the media fawning over them. I wish them, Geelong, Carlton and Essendon nothing but pain and misery this season. I still haven’t forgotten what Maynard did to Gus. Still makes my blood boil.

I am currently in SA. It appears that most decent accommodation is already booked out. Thankfully I booked our accommodation as soon as the Gather Round was announced. I tried to upgrade my accommodation but was told they were fully booked. I have also been told most of the decent restaurants are also heavily booked. Might be worthwhile to do a bit of forward planning if you are planning on coming to SA.
