  1. Cmon Dees! Keep fighting
  2. Completely agree. The umpires look absolutely rattled. Stop over thinking it and let the players play.
  3. Great goal! Keep fighting girls. Really gutsy effort in the face of it all.
  4. Paxy just said to the umpire ‘give us a free kick’. Ridiculous
  5. This umpiring is very one sided
  6. Holding the ball is anyone’s guess.
  7. The girls look happy and relaxed. Love it.
  8. I never understand the theory that one draft year is worth holding out for. Is the difference really going to mean that a pick 5 this year would only be a pick 20 next year? I seriously doubt it. The most rewarding thing for a young player with talent is being in a highly professional system for a year. Get ‘em in. Show ‘em how it’s done. See what they can do. A bird in the hand and all that.
  9. If having a body for 44 years has taught me anything it’s that the current inhabitant never speaks fondly of the former tenant.
  10. I always thought the AFLW Grand Final was more of a Shelbyville idea.
  11. Regardless of the substance of this thread the title is some Rupert Murdoch level click bait confusion. All it needs is a random picture of a football player with a red circle pointing out something completely unrelated - that makes you click on it none the less. If you’re confused saunter on over to news.com.au and you’ll see what I mean.
  12. I have some Colombian friends who agree with you.
  13. I feel like the club knows Brown is only capable of 12-14 games a year now. I’m using this assumption to fuel my theory that Petty will play as a forward in 2023.
  14. One of the arrested has been confirmed as an umpire. Ugly.
  15. Then yes please! Bailey is a freak. I think if the criticism of this kid is that he’s more a Hipwood than a Hawkins then that’s ok. We always need more skill and diverse options forward of the ball.
  16. ‘And just like that… the entire crowd disappeared’.
  17. Sorry @La Dee-vina Comedia I read all your posts in this guys voice.
  18. Actually I’ll make it easier for you. In the last month we played 3rd away, 5th away, and 9th (fighting to stay alive) and 4th at home. Geelong played 12th away and 8th, 10th and 17th at home. I guarantee if we got that soft a draw we would have rested players.
  19. A few seem to have forgotten the difference between the last 2 months of our season compared to Geelong’s. We had to fight for a double chance all over the country, while Geelong played predominantly at home against much weaker teams. If you want to over simplify the season maybe start there, and not with the bloke who coached us to our only premiership in 58 years only 13 months ago.
  20. Who did they ask? Grandma’s with a penchant for neck tattoos who haven’t watched the footy since 2017?
  21. Yep. He continues to be the best player in the competition, and we continue to pay him as such.
  22. 64kg? At that weight he’s an OH&S concern in the wind at Casey.
  23. It’s about time sports journos added some more realtor lingo to the football landscape. Surely we are in more of a Bay window versus Geelong, who are clearly in a porthole by comparison. As for Gold Coast, that’s not a window that’s an egress - the kind of window you only have in the hope you can escape from it during a home invasion.
