  1. He makes us too slow on transition. There’s a lot of footage over 2019-20 with Brayshaw in the midfield where he can’t go with his opponent. It’s one of the reasons he’s playing defensive wing. He’s responsible for 2/3rds of his side of the ground, and doing such a good job. I love what he’s done this year. It’s working really well and doesn’t need to change. We need more spark, burst and versatility in the middle if anything. More bursts of Kozzie and Jordan.
  2. Based on who I know is in Perth from reading the papers: Out: Viney & TMac In: Gina Rinehart & Margaret Court
  3. Yes. That’s how the AFL works. However - it’s worked this way for 30 years. At a certain point you have to know what you’re dealing with and adjust.
  4. Given the shenanigans of this evening I’d say we are a good chance to challenge, with Collins as the star witness for the defence.
  5. My ‘friend’ said it was very painful.
  6. Or like when you have to explain to the ER surgeon you were hanging curtains in the nude and you fell backwards and that’s how the light bulb… …actually, never mind.
  7. He held him down for 6 seconds with his elbow to his throat. They sent it the tribunal for ‘serious misconduct’. If he gets 2 weeks I think we are lucky. He’s not in the boys club. He’s gone.
  8. He will get 2 weeks. It was dumb and not the look the AFL want at all. Well after the play, and prolonged.
  9. Thanks LH. The 14 days actually makes sense. Not the pseudoscience, arbitrary 7 days of Victorian clubs.
  10. See this is where I have a problem with the ‘best’. Rowell was listed as one of their bests too (along with Swallow). They got pantsed by almost 100 points - of which all the drive came from our midfield. Its just done on stats. Their mids were dreadful.
  11. Anyone know if the Eagles are quarantined for 7 days at the moment? I assume they are since they were in Melbourne on the weekend.
  12. That game was a disgrace.
  13. They was asking for it, and I gave as good as I got. I love youse all.
  14. Viney - Holding the ball!
  15. Dockers doing a Dees in front of goal
  16. That game will be remembered as the game that made me very glad we didn’t go anywhere near Peter Wright.
  17. Meh. This just goes on my ‘reasons to hate Essendon’ list.
  18. Sydney getting the rub of the fluorescent yellow here.
  19. Interesting to hear Brown say how he’d put in a really hard 12 week block of work. He worked very hard today off the ball. The example they showed at half time was fantastic. The Demonland myth about a mini preseason has proven to be true.
  20. I hate Tom Papley so much that I’d love him to come to us.
  21. Essendon have looked terrible in this quarter
  22. Coaching to the end of the year. I’d absolutely love him to continue putting on a coaching clinic and drag another few million out of Carlton or Collingwood.
  23. Very small crowd in Tassie. Not doing themselves any favours in their long term push.
  24. That’s interesting. How do you know this, and do you know what it was for? Love to know what role he was playing.
  25. I’m convinced that most ‘best’ lists are just made by looking at the stats. Sometimes I wonder if people are even watching the same game. How can Rowell and Swallow be in the best when their direct opponents are the reason we won by 15 goals? It’s strange.
