  1. ...sorry, it looks like you do have trouble with reading.
  2. Sorry you have trouble reading.
  3. ...as I said before we were rudely interrupted . We have a CEO who has been told to stay out of the FD by the board and now is not allowed or able or is in hiding from the media. He's on light or restricted duties, hope is being paid accordingly.
  4. Terlich, Kent & Jetta would have to be walk ups. Tommy Mc if fit to go.
  5. Mckenzie has done the job before and will probably get it again.
  6. Agree with you on this one 'stuie'.
  7. I get part of what you are saying with the Adelaide game and a couple of others, but something was not quite right and heading backwards pretty quickly. There were to many poor performances too, absolute disaster games like WC and the famous Geelong game not to mention Hawthorn numerous times. Then Viney took over and nothing changed, then Neeld took over and nothing changed. Is it the 3 coaches fault or could it just be a problem with someone that has been a constant? Maybe not the coaches fault or solely the coaches fault. No point changing the coach unless everything else is settled.
  8. I don't think we know whether or not he can coach, unfortunately for him we may never find out. I believe that Schwab is a millstone around his neck, I also believe he (Neeld) has made some bad decisions but what first year coach doesn't. He was placed under some extraordinary pressure in his first year and most of it wasn't his making. On the other side of the ledger, as for the Collingwood group, I once ran into a St Kilda player in a bar one Christmas and we got talking. He said he loved Stan Alves when he was an assistant with the Saints, great bloke but totally changed when he got the coaching gig...said he was an absolute.....couldn't stand him. Thanks for all you've done and for the previous and present posts. I really appreciate the info. Good luck to you and your family and all the best to Col, I reckon he goes alright but it's a pity we didn't get the one they left at home, sounds like he could play a bit.
  9. Send it on, I'm more than interested.
  10. 'RobbieF', I've heard similar stories from others in a similar position to you. From what I gather they're not in a rush to put money in anymore. I wonder how many of the hero's have been burned. Thanks for sharing that.
  11. Now your being silly... no, I do it with everyones username 'rp'. nothing implied just a habit. I wouldn't call it bloodlust, but I've heard the same story before about the end of the season. I don't want to go through a whole season like the last 5 or 6, by the way there is nowhere I have said I want the coach changed now but I do want the CEO changed and that should have happened at least in 2011 before they gave him the extension. At that time people were saying "don't worry 'rjay', he'll be gone at the end of the year", then in 2012, "don't worry 'rjay', he'll be gone at the end of the year", well he's still here and we're still no good. I want Neeld to have a chance without the millstone of Schwab around his neck, I know others don't see it that way but I do and I think it's the only chance for a quick turnaround. I'm angry about the performance like everyone else here, but these performances aren't a one off and they didn't just start happening when Neeld came on board, we had them under Bailey and Viney as well.
  12. I think you have said the same thing before 'rpfc' and it hasn't happened in October. A day wasted is one we never get back, I'm not interested in waiting and watching another year of sub standard performances.
  13. The question is a very fair one seeing as you are requiring proof. However it seems you are more interested in your position than proof as evidenced by your ridiculous stand on Cook only being a bean counter with absolutely no influence on the on ground premiership success of the Geelong FC.
  14. You are not interested in proof, if you answer my question I will give you the proof you don't want. "is the football club really only the sum of it's members and are the board appointed by the members to act in their interests?"
  15. 'Robbie' it would be better if you did elaborate, you've eluded to things like this in the past and as a contributor to the club as you are it is important that you speak out on things that effect the running of the club.
  16. No mate you don't because you know where this was heading and it was giving you the proof you keep telling me I haven't put up that you well know is staring you in the face every time you look at this forum. Well you've already admitted that the CEO has an impact on the performance of the team on ground so that's enough for me. I will leave you alone.
  17. answer the next question 'stuie', you're deflecting again.
  18. So now you are saying he did play a part, I'm happy you have finally acknowledged that. Next...is the football club really only the sum of it's members and are the board appointed by the members to act in their interests?
  19. Weasel words 'stuie' or is it really Cam. He played no part in premiership success according to you or are you now backing away from that.
  20. Ok so you believe he did nothing to effect the on ground performance of the Geelong FC and their premiership success was in no part due to him being the CEO. I'm happy for you to stake your credibility to that 'stuie'.
  21. I know we are frustrated but I don't agree with booing the players, it just goes against the grain for me. ...I work in a biz where people often feel they have a right to make comment about what I do and some of it is quite amazing, especially if they've had a few. Message to James just have a good laugh about it mate and don't take it personally, at times I think it would be fun to go to the workplace of some of these big mouths and get stuck into them about how they are working on their computers, answering phone calls, serving people etc. But in the end they are paying the price of admission.
  22. You've got to be kidding answer the question mate. I've given you the proof, if you think everyone that doesn't want Schwab is a fool and doesn't count so be it but that to me shows he divides opinion, is divisive. Now tell me about Cook and why he has had nothing to do with Geelong's on ground success.
  23. Maybe, but this CEO and board can't be trusted to sort it out. Because he is a great operator and not a divisive figure, but you have still deflected the question. You talk credibility.
  24. I mean premiership success 'stuie' and you know that. Ask Geelong how much part Cook played in their premiership success. You reckon they will say none, zero, zilch?
  25. If you want facts just look at all the posts on this site, I know you don't agree but the fact is a lot on here don't want him at the club. That is a fact 'stuie', that is proof. I don't know of any other CEO that draws the same criticism. ...and you haven't answered the point about Cook. ...and no it's not letting the coaches and players off the hook but how many on the list need to be turned over and how many coaches do we need to sack before we realise something else might not be right?
