  1. I am with this one too 'dazz'
  2. I think it was to play on Cameron. Tomo couldn't play this role. As it turns out Cameron didn't feature but who was to know.
  3. I don't understand this one either...perhaps (I hope) it's something we plan to launch again in the back end of the season.
  4. They're not that good. If we can't win 7 of our next 9 we won't make top 4 & don't deserve too. I think we will. EFC won't have anything to do with it...can't see them winning 8 of 10. They will be lucky to win tonight, I hope they do.
  5. They will drop 1 or 2 of those... I hope they win tonight, their next 4 are tough. If they can make top 4 with that draw they deserve it. You really can be a glass 1/2 empty kind of person at times.
  6. A good first up effort I thought 'Dee'... ...has missed a lot of football but there's a lot to like about him. When he gets his fitness levels up I reckon he will add a more to his game. Can see him as a very mobile ruck/forward.
  7. Please no...he does well at Casey but offers zero tackling pressure. ...we can't afford that at AFL level. I'm with 'Red', he's probably played himself into the sub role.
  8. The trouble may be that Clarry didn't listen to the fitness staff... Who would know. Like all of us we just want him back out there. He wants him back out there.
  9. Sorry, but I'm not trusting an osteopath with this stuff. I did many a hammy and they were never sore when I got back to running, that's the problem. As soon as you start to stretch out to full pace, no warning, they go. You have to ease back into it. My observation from afar...Clarry was running too hard too soon.
  10. 'BDA' was predicting we would probably get a pick in the range of 5-10 based on where Freo will finish this season. You misread his post as being we would finish between 5-10 on the ladder. That's what I'm talking about.
  11. Comprehension issue here '58er'... Maybe an apology?
  12. It seems the AFL are treating it as though the players should be grateful to have a comp...
  13. Sounds like a good job for Joel Selwood...
  14. The big problem is they haven't replaced the head of football and have a temp in that role. A lot of this is on Gil for not moving on when he should have instead of hanging around.
  15. A career change...
  16. ...just need Sydney & Carlton to run into a bit of form now. Then the way Hawthorn have been going is a bottom 3 position for Freo too much to ask for?

It was pretty obvious that something was up with Danger. Was absent from centre bounces in the 2nd half & didn't appear to be on the ground for large periods of play. Little or no mention from the channel 7 experts. Watching with a mate we figured by deduction that he must have been injured...
  18. I think we are doing the same this year... ...mystery injury last week. Probably one last shot at it.

Well, i guess avoiding litigation in the future is for the good of the game. It could be litigated out of existence if they don't do something. edit: of course the changes could legislate the game out as a spectacle and drop fans by the droves. ...at the moment there is no consistency in the approach. As much as I don't like it won't be long before you can't tackle a player to the ground. The risk of suspension is too great.

Great talent, but at 24 he's one of the players you build your team around. I wouldn't think they're mad enough to move him on.
  21. Move on to the Geelong game...

I haven't seen this game tonight but they are seriously underperforming. I fear for Vossy, don't know whether the board can hold their nerve...

The umpires have lost their way..it's sad to see and making it difficult to watch a game without throwing something at the TV...and that's neutral games. A good idea would be to go back to the rule book. In the 2 games I've watched so far, in the back has become a chook raffle. It used to be simple...hands in the back is hands in the back.

Yes, I can see the similarity...
