  1. Probably the worst AA team in a while...
  2. With Goldie, my favourites...they have a sense of fun along with their competitive spirit.
  3. The Long Road | Eliza McNamara
  4. I think he's out of contract at the end of next season. Is he a free agent then? It might be the right time for us.
  5. Of course he has been. It would be derelict not to after he came off with an issue. Let's just hope for the best.
  6. I'm not sure this is good one for him as the Tiges are heading backwards. ..but if any role comes up I guess you have to take it.
  7. Wonder where she will fit this year? With McNamara back I would assume she will take one wing and Mackin the other. Then we have sister Aimee... It's going to be even tighter for spots in the team this year.
  8. Goody coaching...
  9. We've been lucky to have Mick & Daisy. ...with Mick still leading the group I've no doubt he will carry on building a great legacy. Loved the story about the improvisation...a bit of Ted Lasso there.
  10. A bit of Tom Stewart about him...
  11. https://www.melbournefc.com.au/video/1413019/free-the-demons-2022-aflw-premiership-documentary?fbclid=IwAR3nC8R8kwpeYVkb5yn7NVKIdOsGX64hsL_fLiU9GbzLAmbT1eC1Ap8OCcY
  12. No thanks... This is the clown that flattened Taj when he was trying to get back in the Swans team for finals. Not the sharpest...there are better options.
  13. It's where he started his career and he was a very good one.
  14. I think Jack Macrae is one of the best wingmen in the AFL...the dogs choose not to play him there. They would get on fine when he takes his wing position.
  15. I reckon his ball use has gone off a bit this year and is part of the reason he was back at Casey. If his kicking is off he brings nothing else to the team. He has no depth in his kick so it's vital he hits targets.
  16. Love your work mate...saved me posting the same thought. Whatever the thinking, looks like he still has a role to play.
  17. WC would be mad not to do a deal that see's them with Curtin and another high pick...
  18. They will be back up & about quickly... The list is getting an overhaul, good draft hand, will trade pick 1 & trade out some older players with currency. Next year will be about regrouping, another run at the draft then they will make a push.
  19. I pointed this one out on the 3 word thread... Ray had a few howlers at the end of the game. ...putting the whistle away. Now there's putting the whistle away on 50/50's in a tight game. ...but there's no putting it away on such an obvious free kick.
  20. Not a chance...
  21. I'm not a fan of catch phrases 'Jimmy'...particularly ones that sound like they've come out of the HR department or a script from Utopia, that's all. The list like all lists has some holes. I'm sure our FD know this also as over the last few years we have targeted, but not landed players who would help fix some areas. List management is not static and it will be interesting to see who we are looking at in draft/trade time. ...but I did ask you a question which you seemed to overlook. I'm interested in your take.
  22. Agree with all you say 'bin'...but here lies the problem. I think the umpiring is at it's lowest ebb since I've been watching football, and that's a long time now. I don't blame the umpires, although I did have a shot at Ray the other night for missing the JVR trip. You can see the umps don't have any confidence in their own game and that's due to the AFL. You've got a retired CEO, no football manager and 2 board vacancies. Who is running the place? It's a total shambles.
  23. If you think the list isn't right that's fair. Attribute diversity, give me a break. I know our list has holes, blind Freddy can see that. All AFL lists have holes, it's in the nature of the salary cap. I reckon you have some good points but you often want to couch them in such a smart a...way that you don't get taken seriously. I'll finish with a question. Do you think we can win a flag this season?
