  1. It seems to me our running patterns contribute to poor play and disposal. Today’s was all about trying to run thru the middle and play Collingwood chaos type football. It's seems there is method in chaos play we have no idea about. We run into trouble too often, over use, and don’t assess when it’s time to pull the trigger on this chaos type play. It’s one thing to run thru the middle in packs, it’s another thing to have options up forward or forward of the play. In 2021 we did this very well and appropriately. Case in point Bang, bang, bang.
  2. Well said Layzie, and I agree in many parts. We lost our best player in Clarry and our midfield functioned just fine without him. Our midfield is strong and can function without such a big loss, just like the filth. Our forward line was always our weakest line on the ground. We lost BBB and TMac. Some may say not our best players but they were our best option historically up forward. We lost and regained our best fwd in Fritta. Easily the best mid fwd in the game. He came back at much less than 100% and performed admirably. He is arguably the most under rated man in the AFL, and possibly around here too. JVR had an outstanding year for a man playing his first year in the big league. We lost him too. Petty is our best swing man and could become a top 10% player in the game (maybe higher). He was lost. The club didn’t just lose a player, or two players. They lost 5 best players in an area of the game we need 6 players to play. We were decimated. More than just unlucky.
  3. We are all ‘diehard and passionate’ supporters, but we all don’t harp on about the same thing then continually harp on with retorts saying the same thing over and over again SWL also brings some great things to this site, therefore he isn’t ‘blocked’
  4. Yep, Yze had a career goal to stay an assistant and not coach one of the biggest sporting clubs in the country. STFUuuuuuuuuuuP
  5. There are not enough superlatives to describe this mammoth of a man. Massive man crush on Max.
  6. Historically I was not a fan, but loved his year last year. Maybe i was missing his contribution in years past.
  7. Not Koszzie’s best year, but his input was valuable. When you set the bar high, it’s hard to break the a high glass ceiling. Bigger and better years to come.
  8. Thank you. Whatever it takes. Peace and tranquility ✌️
  9. SWYL (can I finish your username quote/sentence? 😳😜). STFU! Your black and white thinking (filth thinking) is plain boring and tiresome! Read the room
  10. Did less than Jefferson in his first year at Casey yet Jefferson gets a bad wrap by a lot of people I get everyone’s enthusiasm. The kid has talent.
  11. With TMac, BBB and Thommo off contract at the end of this year, the club has plenty of money to throw elsewhere. If Petts comes back with a bang, the club will offer up a good amount of money. I think I heard someone within the club saying they will be spending more time and effort in keeping Petts more connected with his family in 2024.
  12. I’m a fan of Chin. First half of the year he displayed his value with a very good level of defensive play and kicking goals. He was always busy in and around the play. He seemed to tire with a full season at AFL level. Hopefully with more AFL experience he will run out a full season.
  13. Laurie has shown more in games at any level of AFL than Jefferson. Not saying, don’t give Jefferson a go, more saying give Laurie a go…
  14. Let me guess (my guesses are 100% spot on). These kids are now in trauma therapy. Some doing EMDR, TRTP, the others psychedelic therapies 🤪😳😜😂😳😳
  15. Jordon is no longer at the club because he was a free agent and was a wanted player at other clubs. At right price and circumstances the MFC would have kept him.
  16. The AFL have been aligned with homelessness agencies for decades. I suggest the club is doing their bit as other clubs do and have for many many years.
  17. I hope that is a finger in Gawn pocket 🤪🤔😂😳
  18. Spoken like a true ABC man. So I gather you will boycott all things Dan the Man or anything that has his grubby hands on? Btw, the Comm games was providing these regional areas the infrastructure they desperately need. Roads, housing, sporting facilities, business etc etc
  19. Andrew’s fooled the public with his constant and consistent lies whilst in office. He is the most corrupt Victorian Premier in history. You should stop watching the news, social media or anything news related with your values on corruption. Regional Victoria are paying the price all because Andrew’s wanted to win an election and buy votes. (now eagerly awaiting a typical SWYL slogan fluff piece response)
  20. I get the romanticism of Gawndy and I was one who was all for this trade. I watched Grundy closely and saw a ruckman without any other skills. Can’t mark, can’t kick goals, won’t run defensively which is the Melbourne way. Grundy is his own worst enemy who will tap the ball at his feet and work offensively as a second midfielder. He has great looking moments but his substance is not that great for a player getting the big dollars. The club can’t have an expensive back up to Gawn. The other element to this failed experiment was Gawn is not a KPF. He can play a roaming ruck moving forward having impact in games, but won’t do this consistently.
  21. Big Thanks Werridee! Love your work! Now i await with baited breath your best 22 from todays session 🤪
  22. Seems to have a good head on his shoulders! He speaks very well for a young man without any media training..
