  1. That's what they said about Ollie.
  2. Averages 13 possessions in under age. I don't think he ll have enough of an impact. Prefer Mathieson who is the usual hard at it can't go wrong pick. We already have Petracca/Trengove who can play as marking mids/forwards
  3. And for pick 7 I highly hope we take a good look at Mathieson. Kid plays with a style like Jordan Lewis and won't have any issues stepping up. If not playing for the 1sts he will definitely dominate and help put Casey while he develops. Can see huge upside in this guy and closer to a sure thing then Parish/Weideman imo
  4. Parish is compared to Whitfield who hasn't set the world on fire. We need to go for bigger bodies unless we want to wait 5 years for him to put on some size without losing confidence or being constantly injured in that period. Francis for me.
  5. #teamfrancis Need a Curnow v Parish v Francis thread asap!
  6. Reminds me of scully. Impact will be minimal
  7. None over Francis. Can't go wrong and must take at 3. He wouldn't have made it to 6
  8. I think we ll go Francis and would be stupid not to. Parish isn't to dissimilar to Scully at that age and is already the 4th best mid behind the academy players. Picking up Francis and Matheson who is a Jordan Lewis type mid would be perfect.
  9. Pick 43 and pick 7 for pick 6?
  10. Gotta wonder who the player we are trading pick 3 and 7 for.
  11. What did Mahoney say on SEN? Is it over or more to come?
  12. Question remains, are we done?
  13. Maybe Gc have indicated they like Mathieson. Leaving us parish at 3 and Weideman at 7.
  14. Do we know who Gc r going to take at 6? If so then that's our answer.
  15. Might be eating pie for dinner.....and possibly for desert if we can now trade that for pick 4&5
  16. Now we need to go for the kill and get 4 and 5
  17. We take 2 first rounders in a [censored] draft while Gc now have 2 in a strong draft.....speaks for itself
  18. First and second rounders from 2017 for Prestia. Draft debt FTW
  19. If next year has more depth then it makes sence to try get in early this year and settle for a bunch of second rounders next
  20. It seems some clubs such as Collingwood and Geelong were keen to get straight into Draft Debt hence losing future picks. I wanted to see people's thoughts on this and if it looks to be a genuine tactic to always stay ahead. Even though these clubs traded out 2 years of draft picks they now have x amount more talent then they usually would which in effect makes their future picks worth less ( as they will finish higher on the ladder). Next year if they felt the need to be in the draft they could simply trade the future first rounder for a different clubs current first rounder which effectively means that their net value of picks stays ahead of the rest of the leagues. I honestly think draft debt is a good thing and we should get in on trading out future picks if possible. Every successive year we could just the following years picks to get back in if needed
  21. Curnow will be gone by 6 It will go like Weitering Scrache Francis Parish Curnow 6. Mathieson
  22. We have picked up a bunch of crumbs and lost Howe who is now being paid peanuts. Well done Mahoney, looking forward to 2016
