Honestly, I'm just happy to be relevant again. We're a legitimate part of the conversation for the first time since 2010. Gawn and Viney both being talked up as AA's, Hogan almost universally recognised as the most exciting young KPP in the comp, Oliver and Petracca both at good odds for the rising star and so on. Jones and Vince just flying under the radar as known quality. Although, it must be odd for some Adelaide supporters to read Vince referred to as 'tough Melbourne midfielder'. We've still gotta string wins together before anyone would confidently back us as a team. But it's hard to knock the quality that's coming through.

Slash isn't, Axl Rose is singing for them. I never rated Brian Johnstone anyway, so I'll just listen to it for the novelty factor. Bon Scott however, is a legend.

Dished out two of the best bumps of my recent memory for the Dees in the last few games. Can't remember when they were now, but both times his opponent's gone spinning 360 like a bowling pin. That's the way footy should be played. Love his swagger and hardness and when he's on he's got some real speed and class as well. Pretty excited by what he can produce, with the bonus of it shoving it up the pies when he really comes on.

I'll be heading over tomorrow with a bombers supporting mate and couldn't give a rats about all this stuff. Just want to watch us smash them, sing the song and fuel my rampant alcoholism.
