  1. Billy Brownless interviewed him while for whatever reason the Jurassic Park song was playing. First question was what happened in the interview, what was said, how are you getting involved? He replied diplomatically with he'll get involved however he can and said something about the football department struggling that I'm too drunk to remember, and then the rest of the questions were about his time on the footy show and if the pie in the face was reaaally a set up. Gave him a blue footy show cap and then gave one to the rest of the panelists and that was it. Utter shite.
  2. All that footy show interview showed me was that it is a stupid program that is more concerned with its own egos than any real news. Still have no idea how he's getting involved.
  3. Disappointed Watts has been dropped and then has to put up with being an emergency. Tells me that it's likely a punishment instead of heading back to Casey to get some confidence about his game. But then, maybe watching from the sidelines will at least give him an idea of how much he wants to be out there. I do feel for the guy, and hope he can make the most of his talent.
  4. Disappointed that Josh Tynan's progress seems to have come to a halt since his first few games last year.
  5. I think it's a case of what senior midfielders were available? We made plays for Wellingham and Ray but one of them decided on WC and the other St Kilda didn't want to trade. From the young guys, we picked up 2 potentially elite young midfielders, one promising half-forward/midfielder, and two rookie midfielders. Plus Dom Barry who at the moment is a winger with x-factor. Who do you suggest we should've picked up instead? Chris Knights or Koby Stevens?
  6. You realise Jeff Kennett was the premier of Victoria, right?
  7. Satterley on Jamar: "Mark's an experienced players and we're looking forward to him bouncing back. He's up for the challenge against one of the best - if not the best - in the competition. Paul."

  9. Lol, sure, we'll just grab Alastair Clarkson over from Hawthorn after round 8. Let's get him over as a midfield coach in the mean time, just in case.
  10. Why do you have to go and take it to the point of ridiculous?
  11. Couldn't be happier about this news.
  12. Phase one in the revolution: Sack Schwab and McLardy. Phase two in the revolution: ???? Phase three in the revolution: PROFIT
  13. Would love to see a push to get Schwarz involved in an official capacity at the club.
  14. The smell of death is around the Melbourne Football Club...http://www.3aw.com.au/blogs/neil-mitchell-blog/the-smell-of-death-is-around-the-melbourne-football-club/20130408-2hfpb.html
  15. Your revolution looks like a picture of you getting fisted by the MFC. Have fun with that.
  16. I thought Sylvia did alright in parts of the game but he had opportunities to stand up and lead by going back and taking a shot from 50 but he kept looking for the short pass to a double-teamed Clark which invariably resulted in an Essendon turnover. As one of the best long kicks in the team, I was disappointed he didn't step back and take the responsibility to have a shot at goal.
  17. Neil Craig is a top-line coach and he's backing Neeld right now so I'm happy to do the same. Will reassess at the end of the season unless something goes horribly wrong against GWS. Inquiring about Roos' services would only serve to create further dis-unity at the club.
  18. That's your take on it and I see where you're coming from, but I'd prefer to hear something from the club and don't think that a 5 minute interview dramatically impacts on their ability to get the job done. Besides, doing interviews means the media stories are filled with the club's positive 'spin' rather than every commentator, past player and his dog ragging on us. The media's going to get a story from somewhere and I'd rather it come from us.
  19. He is responsible for ensuring the club has the facilities to develop players, he sets the brand and the direction of the football club. His direction impacts the culture of the football club. The entire club is under fire from top to bottom and there was a responsibility to either come out and defend it or explain how it's gone so horribly wrong.
  20. Throwing Pedersen in defence creates the opportunity for a straight swap with Gillies, that's if Dunn's still injured or Watts is sent back to Casey for a while. Davis must be all kinds of horrible if he can't crack into the team right now.
  21. Happy to appear simple-minded, but I'd be pretty shat if they didn't come out with this onslaught of interviews right now. Especially Schwab, it was about time.
