    Poor Tony finds it hard to get anyone to listen to him at the best of times but this latest gem shows what a philosopher of the game he is . Tony comes from a family that thinks Melbourne supporters drive around in Rolls -Royces eating caviar ,drinking champagne and playing golf all day while they go and work in the boot factories where even poor dumb Tony can get a job . Hes Right in my case except its a Range Rover , and in his case the old boot factory is now known as The Herald Sun . Time to pop my bottle of Breakfast Moet and read The Age .

    I'm not to pessimistic about this game .We beat them last year and they have been training hard all year .Our half back line should give Clark a few shots and maybe Tappy and Joel Mac can keep it in our forward line for a long time . Sylvia might pull his finger out now that his career is on the line.Watts will star.Demons by 3 points! (I'm that confident).

    Bennell will not be playing AFL in two months if he doesn't get a kick . I'm usually supportive of him but he really has so many "nothing " games that I cannot keep backing him up.

    Annoys me that Hird has Bomber next to him in games and Neeld has him . Got any ideas Chocco? The old Beamer /Jamar thing isn't working . Nathan Jones is improving every year . The others seem to be reversing.

    Bail ,Nicholson ,Tapscott and even Dunn(yes Dunn) had reasonably good games. Garland was down ,JT ,Bennell likewise . Blease ,Bail and Nicho have speed which we lack. Jamars game was an improvement on this years form . Stoppages/Clearances were abysmal overall . Grimes was a bit erratic but is improving.

    Runs like he has OP at the moment.Despite this he nearly took a speccy . There is something wrong with his pace-he needs a rest.

    Picture the Joker after sucking a lemon and you'll begin to understand how my face looks watching us play . Even the boundary umpires conspired against us twice today . Nothing is going our way at all. I really dont give a rats about the photogeniality of the coach . Just hope he continues to toughen the boys up .

    Chris Judd looks up to Bruce Mathison. Hopefull Watt aims higher . Agree with Gibbs-not a no1 pick at all but everyone thinks he's great .Watts is a future superstar .
