NON-MFC: Round 08
Freo tanking to get a better pick for kozzie?

2025 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Very good prospect but wouldn't be surprised if he ends up in the top 10.

PREGAME: Rd 08 vs West Coast
I know I'm being impatient but teams aren't available for view on the MFC or AFL app, nor any other games except for tonight. Anyone else having the same problem?

PREGAME: Rd 08 vs West Coast
Turner forward or back? Not a fan of a single key forward and Eagles have a tall forward line. Rivers presumably gets full midfield minutes

The Quarters Ladder
You're in luck. Goody specifically mentions this in the latest sounds of the game video near the end.

Xavier Lindsay- Round 7 Rising Star
One of my favourite players already. Beautiful left foot kick, knows where to run and hard at it when required. Excited to see his development as a footballer and no doubt will see him run through the middle in future years.

The Logan Morris Thread
A lot of moving parts to our tall forward line making it hard to predict where it will end up. Petty and Turner can play either end. Johnson was touted as someone that could play back as well and while we've persisted with JvR forward, he performed very well at U18 level in defence and could potentially move there. If Jefferson makes it, he looks mainly to be a forward while Kentfield has looked better behind the ball at VFL level. If we add Morris to the mix (more of a 3rd tall but plays above his height), what would our ideal tall fwd set up be? Petty, JvR, Morris Jefferson, JvR, Morris Turner, JvR, Morris Johnson, JvR, Morris Petty, Turner, Morris Petty, Johnson, Morris Petty, Jefferson, Morris Jefferson, Turner, Morris Jefferson, Johnson, Morris Or do we play with only two talls. And if we keep fritsch, do we play 2 talls + fritsch or 3 talls + fritsch. We were reportedly keen on Waterman last year who is also 191cm so we obviously don't see height as an issue and perhaps that type of player, particularly one with some athleticism and strong overhead, could complement our team.

Geelong needing a midfield replacement perhaps?

CASEY: Rd 05 vs Richmond
Was ok but didn't stand out for mine. Worked hard defensively and marked well above his shoulders. Disposal not fantastic but conditions were tough. Didn't get a stack of it either despite us dominating the game and the disposal count. Unsure if he's time is still being managed.

CASEY: Rd 05 vs Richmond
This. Laurie was taken off at half time in round 1 to be the carry over emergency. Common practice for games played on the same day in the same state.

Two byes in three weeks is ludicrous.

CASEY: Rd 05 vs Richmond
Mentha has some nice attributes but really needs to lower his eyes inside 50. Has burnt Jefferson twice today.

CASEY: Rd 05 vs Richmond
Conditions look exceptionally tough. Casey have done well against the breeze, hopefully our forwards will get an easier look in the second quarter. Most players playing well.

PREGAME: Rd 07 vs Richmond
I'd be highly surprised if Campbell comes in to the seniors. Casey play Thursday morning, also off a 5 day break, so probably making sure he's right to go and not miss any footy at the lower level.

Main training today I presume? Any track watchers?

POSTGAME: Rd 06 vs Fremantle
Well that was a fun game to watch twice. Interesting watching the replay and Jay Clark at the start of the game mentioned that Dees would want either Treacy, Jackson or Amiss (in that order) for a potential trade for Kozzie. I just hope we keep him. He's so important to us and if our game style continues its evolution towards a more attacking game then he's really going to flourish as well.

PREGAME: Rd 07 vs Richmond
Not many Casey players putting their hands up. Could simply be May for Turner though suspect McVee will make his way in as well.

CASEY: Rd 04 vs UWS Giants
Main thing I learned from this game is that GWS are flush with talent that we should try and pick off. Aleer, Derkson, Gruzewski, Leake, Angove, Wardius, Angwin, Oliver, Ough, Gothard. These players will struggle to get into the senior team and a couple could be more than useful for us. Edit: added Leake

the future midfield musketeers
Langford will be a pure inside mid with some time resting forward as an aerial threat. Lindsay will be an inside/outside midfielder, has more versatility and can play wing and half back. His u18 year as a centre square mid was outstanding. Tholstrup I see as a hybrid mid/half forward. I'm not convinced Windsor will be a centre square player but will be an elite winger in my view.

CASEY: Rd 04 vs UWS Giants
Will be a very strong Casey forward line. Also looking forward to seeing Leek Aleer, Wade Derkson, James Leake and Phoenix Gothard from the Giants.

Tom Fullarton
Well earned club debut, good luck tom.
