Jack Billings
Out of contract at the end of this season and Demons rated him (allegedly) higher than Josh Kelly in the 2013 draft. Has played 62 games and is having a breakout season. Could fill that skillful outside role as well as having the ability to go forward and hit the scoreboard. Would cost a lot and I can't actually see him leaving the Saints this year, but for mine is definitely worth the discussion.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - JOEL SMITH
Nah it's definitely Joel. He won't be on the official primary list until the end of the year/draft period. From memory he was elevated for king who has since come of the LTI list but we can promote a rookie mid season.

Damn, I forgot about this awesome thread. Who doesn't like watching a middle aged guy dancing awkwardly to metal? He does have a few credits in the bank for being one of the most talented musicians going around in the genre. These guys are getting a bit of airplay on triple J and I was impressed when I saw them live late last year. This may have been posted already but gets me every time.

Is he playing this week?

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CLAYTON OLIVER
Or they were the players they rated the highest regardless of their height? 2-3cm isn't going to get someone crossed off the list if they're talented enough.

Delistings/trades at end of the season
Probably not worth starting a thread on this guy as I believe he has re-signed until 2017 last year and is not a midfielder, but Adam Kennedy from the Giants can't seem to get a game this year after being a solid best 22 player since their inception. Can't say that I have seen a great deal of him but to my eye he appeared to be a good small defender with skills and pace that could help free up Salem to the midfield. 23 years old and has played 59 games, only 5 this year. Worth keeping an eye on?

Delistings/trades at end of the season
Prestia, Treloar, O'Meara, Dangerfield. If we could land just one these players I would be ecstatic. Just imagine if we could trade for one and land danger as a free agent. Time to clean myself up and come back to reality

Delistings/trades at end of the season
I really hope this eventuates, just hope he doesn't change his mind with the Suns seeming to find a bit of form and Melbourne far from a wise investment regarding likelihood of finals. Edit: Wouldn't mind a deal that included Lynch as well.

He can seriously play. But here is a list of people that I would take before him in an off-field context. Nathan Carroll Mitch Robinson Ben Cousins Toby Greene Dan Conners Heath Shaw Dustin Martin Lance Franklin Jake King Mick Gatto Don't want him anywhere near our club.- The 2014 AFL National Draft

I'm not sure I understand your argument. Are you saying that "player x" who had better form than "player y" in the U18's will always be a better player come AFL?- Jimmy Toumpas
Lol, well perhaps one thread on here would be- Jimmy Toumpas
Hasn't he improved out of site this year. I followed him closely last year and wasn't all that impressed with his ouput... although he was nursed through his first year and got the green vest many times. If Toumpas can have a follow up year similar to Wingard's then Demonland will be a much happier place next year.- Jimmy Toumpas
Really depends on your definition of soft I guess. I've seen him hit contests hard and at the bottom of packs. I've also seen the toughest players the AFL has to offer squib a contest at some point or another. This includes Hodge, Mitchell, Hayes, Bartel, Selwood, Franklin, D Martin, Ablett, Swan, Watts (hehe), Boyd, Goodes, H Taylor, N Reiwoldt, Chapman, and on and on and on and on.... The only ones I haven't seen anything but 100% commitment to each contest time and time again is J Brown and our own Jack Viney. I think you need to re-evaluate your definition of the word soft, and I would suggest that 90%+ of AFL players wouldn't fit it.- Nuggets' Music Videos
Nascent 2.2 This album has dominated my car cd player for the past month or so. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/pPBTtsgIWNM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Edit: hmmmmm, can't seem to get the video to embed properly. Nascent 2.0 Nascent 2.1 [media=]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1NEksEw5NQo- Josh Caddy
I wanted to play... but now I just feel dirty.- Josh Caddy
If GC bid for Viney then we should propose a juicy, yet fictitious trade for Caddy that will have the Suns salivating. Drag the negotiations out essendon style until the end of the trade period, then take him for free in the PSD (assuming GWS don't stand in the way of his wish to return to Victoria). Wishful thinking I known, but would be nice to finally get one up on another team... even if it is only a franchise club.- Nuggets' Music Videos
Nascent 1.8 The very talented Mr Townsend, a former protege of Steve Vai, shows off his amazing vocals on this track (3.20 - 4.15). Not his best song, but probably one of the most accessabile from his solo work. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Nnn4gSkprg&feature=related Nascent 1.9 Aussie band The Butterfly Effect. Posting purely because I'm catching their final tour in a couple weeks before Clint leaves the band.- Nuggets' Music Videos
