Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
Putting aside everything I think of him or his footy, to me this is an obvious 'Sell high' opportunity. I personally don't see Trac doing a Boak, Sidebottom, Danger etc. who thrive into their 30s. I'm sure he's got at least a few great years in him but I'm happy to take that chance if our flag tilt looks to be a few year away. I know leadership is important in building that next team up, but I suppose the club doesn't think he provides that either. Have loved your work over the years Trac, hope you find what you're looking for.

Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
I wasn't as disappointed in Trac's performance tonight, he wasn't amazing but showed glimpses again. I think what I'm more over is his attitude, he exudes negativity. Some will put it down to his competitiveness, I just don't really agree. There's an ego there that hates to be bruised and thrives off publicity (in my onlooker opinion). His trade value probably still exceeds his worth to the team and so I know what my choice this off season would be, though I don't envy whoever has to make the call.

Who’s Playing Their Last Game In The Red & Blue tonight?
Sparrow has one good moment every 4-5 games. For a big body he's way too soft in the contests. So what does he offer? I'd absolutely be looking to move him on for a pick.

Trac is an expert finger pointer.

Gonna pretend he didn't try and chest mark that.

Tommy Mc keeping Darcy quiet has been huge. Will definitely get his due credit in the media.

Umps pulling frees from deep within their @ss and missing the most obvious ones of ours.

Simon Goodwin Sacked
Really well spoken by Goody, massive respect. Does he want a coaching gig?

We pick the oddest timing for everything hey.

Culley looked very solid first game back. Should probably drop him.

Time to start a rebuild?
I know we love trading back into the draft with future picks and I usually love it. This year we just have to keep that 2026 1st round pick, commit to a year of playing the kids with a new coach and copping a year or two at the bottom. Maybe try for the mini draft picks tassie will have our something I don't know, but embrace the slide and inject ample youth. I've previously largely felt a whole rebuild wasn't necessary but now I see it as the only way out.

Who is running this club?
I've resented Trac somewhat for what he did end of last year, and have been hypercritical of his footy since then. But you need to know when to look in the mirror and realise that you're the problem. Trac needs to be politely asked to sit down in front of the members and asked one question: "what is wrong with the football club?" Let him talk for as long as it takes, no details spared and use specific examples. And if this is what it takes then after he helps us we will help him find a new club.

PREGAME: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
There were multiple viable combinations, and we picked none of them.

GAMEDAY: Rd 14 vs Port Adelaide
These after-goal free kicks make no sense to me, why would it not go to where the ball effectively is after a goal which is in the middle.
-
GAMEDAY: Rd 14 vs Port Adelaide
Port player opts to kick a dribbler out of defense obviously curling towards the boundary line instead of a drop punt and the brain rot commentary club have the gall to act like it was a legitimate pass attempt.

Skills aside, are our performance staff getting off easy? How can a whole team be so slow against multiple teams?

Also keen to join a league if there's one with any spots! Have played before but it's been a few years.

2024 Phantom Drafts
We could just be name dropping Lindsay to try get Allan through to pick 9. Or... We're goading Richmond to pick Allan early to give us a better shot at Tauru. Or, none of that is happening and I don't have a clue (most likely option). All of them seem like great pickups and will be stoked regardless.

Daniel Curtin
https://www.zerohanger.com/afl-draft-new-club-emerges-in-trade-chase-for-wa-young-gun-145741/ Probably won't make a difference, but for the sakes of our hopes of keeping Petty I hope Adelaide grab him.

Farewell Luke Jackson
If he really has said that either club is fine then, it still sucks, but I have a lot of respect for it. Really this is how all go-home cases should be if they do honestly just want to be near family imho.

What to do with Pick 10?
I know mate, I'm sure you're right. I honestly don't believe those sorts of deals are against the spirit of the draft. But I'm also not seriously suggesting we embroil ourselves in more draft controversy. I'm just frantically trying to keep alive any hope of Young playing in the red and blue as I love the way he plays.
