First semi final 1988 vs Collingwood...... I was over from Tassie staying with a mate in the school holiday's, as we headed towards the G my mates Auntie asked me if was my first final ? I replied it's my first game ! we parked the car in the city somewhere & walked through the parks on the way to the ground. as we got closer this 13yo boy from suburban Hobart couldn't believe the amount of people that were around the ground let alone the 87,000 people in side the G. most of it was a blur but I know I walked away knowing that this was the place to be & I get there when ever I can....... ahh the life of a tortured interstate Dees fan !!!

100% agree, we seem to be "getting our man" a fair bit lately & I think there is no coincidence that the great man is on board, I would love the club to convince him to stick around !!!

With all of the positives of the last week or so, compensation,new coach,Fitness Guru & assistants to come I have found it easy to say....... Tom Who?...... does anyone else feel the same ?

im pretty sure he is the same bloke who started out with the Australian cricket team in the Waugh years, I hope so they were tough uncompromising years of Australian sport.

agree 100% I think Choco would be well worth looking at, He has experience & passion, with respect to any assistant coaches in the running I would much prefer someone that has done it before. GET CHOCO

I say trade them both in trade week 1 + a player for some experience & the other 1 for Omeara....

Malthouse should be the top priority & I hear they are trying as hard as they can.... if he can't be convinced then I would go for Choco !
