Looking as though the days are going to be low 20's with Sunday looking superb for footy. It cracked 24 degrees out my way in the Swan Valley yesterday but today it's poured rain. The night temps starts to get to jacket wearing temp around 6pm and the mornings have been nippy around 5 - 10 degrees. My tip is don't bother packing anything too bulky to keep warm in as it'll be overkill. A MFC beanie and scarf will be a necessity at the game and afterwards if we win. Some knuckle dusters may come in handy.

It was leaked last night to Basil Zempilas who reported it on 7 news Perth. Navicular. The same injury which Trengove was decimated by but Tim Smith recovered from in short time frame. Fingers crossed for Jesse.

Unfortunately it's a by-product of the 'forward half game' and repeat entries mentality our game plan is built around. I like the theory of generating additional opportunities to score but it's just not working against strong defensive opponents (top teams). I can understand when Goody talks about "lacking connection" but that's the catch 22 he's created and having to deal with. No wonder Hogan takes off up the ground.

We need to drastically improve the way we utilise Hogan otherwise it'll be another wasted talent chewed up and spat out by the MFC. If I was him I'd be very frustrated. Trade him? Seriously, some people have even less than NFI.

5 games lost by under a couple of goals. Most of these close losses were because of the teams weak mental ability and a lack of experience in the coaching box.. Imagine the completely different feeling around the club and the belief the players would be generating had we nutted up and eked out those wins. We are in the window but are already blowing one of our chances this season.

Or he gets another week of rest and then hits the AFL finals (providing we make it). Can't really see the need for game minutes this time around. Would rather the security of another week of hard on- track training as opposed to risk factors from VFL finals.
