Well after watching old “yeah-no” Richo do the injury summary today, I am hereby highlighting the enormous pressure on young JvR. All signs are pointing to his development is ahead of where we thought he would be. But by geez, he’s gonna cop a hiding from the oppo this next month. I hope the coaches work on methods to protect him a bit. No Brown. No Fritsch No Petty Iffy Grundy not attackey enough Schache? Grundy must be the bigger and stronger body to insert now and maybe Tmac’s VFL games go well and that could change. I’m really looking forward to JvR being the ‘Man’ now.

I’m born and raised Victorian but spent 60% of my life here. Cities don’t do it for me all that much to be honest. Both States have amazing scenery and things to do. I just get humoured by people slagging off Perth as a hole when they’ve made a couple of fleeting visits here in their life and are in reality nowhere near equipped to make an accurate nor pragmatic assessment of the city.

The question I have is; who is the better lead-up forward and contested marker of the pill? Its easy to assume the answer would be BBB but can this be another accidental uncovering of another effective scoring mix where Schache demands the footy like Petty has been? I personally think he can offer the same type of contest but just purely lacks the physicality at his age. Give Schache a go.

To be fair to Dangerfield, across the many years he’s been discussed on various threads on Demonland, he’s another deserving/undeserving very successful player who attracts the criticism of the public. It’s really the Aussie ‘tall poppy syndrome‘ at its finest. There is no doubt however that Dangerfield can let his ego run away too often.
