If it's only going ahead with State Govt grant approval then i would hazard a guess this proposal's already dead in the water under a Labor Govt. Unless we have some heavy hitters connected to some key operatives within the Labor Govt or one of the key influencers is a fanatical Demon , there's no way a Govt that touts itself as 'the friend of the working class' (which of course it no longer is....but still parrots this rubbish for any fools who continue to believe such nonsense) will give a cent to a club affiliated with the MCC. Traditionally considered an upper class institution. Yes all clubs are represented in terms of who makes up its MCC membership base but barring someone within the MFC having the ear of a big hittter of some key Govt operative/s (or a mad Demon supporter within the party...unlikely) this will most likely be the way it pans out (behind the scenes) imv.

Presently sifting through a ratings comparison of how our boys are fairing in a form sense. Comparing their first six games, Rnds 0 - 5, with the next, Rnds 7 to 12. I'm almost finished the entire set bar tomorrow's game. The stand out in terms of not looking good so far... Chandler. He must be playing injured. Almost every single metric is a disaster post our bye round ie; from round 7 onwards. The only area of improvement is tackles, which is most likely an indication he is second to the ball.... alot! I'm very surprised he's still playing to be honest and also that we haven't procured a replacement in the last few weeks. The FD would be seeing this drop off also it's that alarming. We are effectively playing a man down here if he continues to be impeded by the ongoing leg / knee issue. Add to that Petty's form / no JVR and boy, we are way behind the eight ball up forward heading into tomorrow if they both fail again. We have also lost an average of 1.2 goals a game from ANB & Kozzy post the bye but gained most of that back through Petracca who has gone from 0.7 goals per game to 1.8 in the same period after being moved into a mostly forward role.

Verral after the first quarter was mostly bog ordinary both in the ruck and around ground. His disposal is not even VFL worthy at this point.

The game won't be saved by the change of interpretation to the HTB rule. Reckon i just watched three throws in a row and at least two incorrect disposals completely ignored by the same ump within about 5 contests. He put this whistle to his mouth about twice but no courage to pay the correct decision and just threw his hands up instead to play on. This was all with line of sight right in front of him no excuses. The horror show circus continues!

We have a small forward crumbing goal sneak who brings some pressure i50 but we prefer to use him down back 100% of time this season for some reason. I'm still not sure why given we have no quality smalls. And pls don't throw Neocleous in there. Guy can barely kick over a barn door

Obviously some umps didn't see or heed the latest HTB changes and instructions. 100% free to Ollie there with a great fend off tackle. The oppo player was also taken to ground after then just flopped the ball out Easily the worst non-decision of the day
