GAMEDAY: Rd 07 vs Hawthorn
Very lazy at times and just doesn't have the ugency or fitness level to play at this level for more than a quarter or so. Has cost us so many goals over the journey. Has his moments but too few and far between and murders too many of his non-pressured disposals by foot. Trade at year's end while there's still value for mine. We need an inside / outside mid with class who can finish.

Hawks are playing a +1 down back. We need to be patient coming inside 50 if we aren't manning him up and look for short options or go long to the square. Bomb or dump it in too often we will lose and they will rebound quickly through the middle. Score a few times as a result and the game will be back on their terms.

He's a WIP PF. Much patience needed me thinks. I have no issues with talent i just think he's a few pre-seasons of fitness and putting some meat on the bone away from holding down a KP. Would have played Brown for next two to three weeks ahead of LJ. Anyways good luck to him and hope he surprises with a vn game

What they're saying down at Glenferrie Road
Although they haven't picked up on the fact that we not only have May & Lever down back. We now have a better, stronger, faster ... " O-Mac "

Yep. My only worry is i don't think Jackson is ready to hold down a CHF role this early. At some point hopefully yes. So that leaves him playing a FF type role. Probably better at this point. But then i don't see Weid as suited to playing CHF either due to his lack of ability on the ground and in transition. Does Jackson at CHF and Weid at FF look a whole lot more scrumptious a year or two down the track? I personally think so and as Bruce is known to say on occasions....we might just see something pretty "Special!".

Not in the form he wasn't in it doesn't. The term "dangerous forward" certainly hasn't reared it's head since 2018 with Tommy unfortunately (the 2019 match against Cartlon the exception). Not saying he won't have his moments but so would anyone if you gave them as many games as Tommy's had without giving much of a yelp in most of them since his outlier season up forward.

NON MFC: Round 07
If TV's are supposedly smart as we are told, why can't we have "commentary off" and "crowd effects on" options? Would set both of those to default on any Chanel 7 AFL programs if they did.

Yep that probably covers it AF- TEAMS: Rd 07 vs Hawthorn
With the 20% less game time this season Bin i reckon that's the equivalent to roughly a standard game for Big M even playing 99% TOG. Not saying he never gets a break but to me the less the better. Maxy's taken 98% of all ruck work so far and he's leading the stat averages count (in general) so far. It's working a treat as is. The above also allows the Weid to focus 98% of his energy on throwing himself into everything up forward and honing his craft there.- TEAMS: Rd 07 vs Hawthorn

Yep and then 3 grabs to Hawkins on a flank not long after....not paid. One of the most biased games of umpiring i've witnessed. Couldn't agree more re: the commentary team Rjay. How the hell Chanel 7 ever got the coverage back is beyond me. Certainly don't deserve it and never earned it at any point in the last 20 years or so. They have no idea, offer no added value and very rarely cover any nuances of the game or players. The inane platitudes and focus of Bruce on mostly the stars (in his eyes) drives me up the wall. Zero criticism at any stage of any officials and their decision making. Anything controversial (throws, obvious pushes in the back gone uncalled and holding the ball getting a free run tonight vs tight interpretation last week for example) mostly never gets a mention. In future i am going to turn those idiots off and just watch the game in blissful silence. - TEAMS: Rd 07 vs Hawthorn
