Linking up well and delivering better inside 50. Casey just bombing in hope so far. Also didn't see any players leading up at the ball carrier but might have missed a few

Yes 100% there Lou. He really was the icing on a very nice cake during 2018- Welcome to Demonland: James Jordon
Hannan straight in as the sub for Keith. Tackle ... free kick. Looks to be in ripping condition- The No T$ No B$ Thread

I would too after a few more weeks of team mates surving up this rubbish- NON-MFC: Rd 04 2023
Freo making them look a bit better than what they might be me thinks DP. Our Freo compensation looking better by the week.- The No T$ No B$ Thread

I think either of them (JJ & Sparrow) are very good on their day playing a somewhat similar role but in their own fashion. JJ may have taken his game up quite significantly vs his form from last season if last week is anything to go by but probably need a few matches to really gauge if this is more than just a one off out-of-the box. If i'm Goody i'd be wanting to hang on to both and be giving them both a decent run rotating them in blocks with clear advice that they aren't competing for the one role/posi. They're both valued and we want them both but that they're selection will be based not only on form (VFL/AFL) but also on match ups / game day roles and needs. Nothing wrong with freshening players up in season either. These fellas play a tough posi where they'll be getting banged up quite a bit. Not saying they wont at VFL level either but maybe not to the degree at senior level. There is also no shame playing with the VFL squad. Its a super strong squad at the moment and many learnings can be passed on and learned at that level also then brought into the seniors when the call up is given.- PREGAME: Rd 04 vs West Coast

Reckon if they were 'all in' on Petty forward this would be the case (Tomo over Macca) That Macca offers a potential dual option of playing down back or forward is a bit of a tell here. Is Tomo's potential for getting his next call up (bar injury) is in a funny way somewhat dependent on how successful (or otherwise) the Petty forward experiment goes from here?- PREGAME: Rd 04 vs West Coast
Tough call on JJ but them's the breaks when getting close to a full list with many in good form. He will work his way back in no doubt but might have to be patient. Where's Harmes at? Top bloke and been so loyal / consistent with his week in / week out application / attendance throughout his career. Very unlike him to miss for weeks on end (bar injury). Hope all is well here- NON-MFC: Rd 04 2023
The main commentator is also bog ordinary and very hard to listen to imv. Maybe ok for VFL but shouldn't be doing the main gigs- NON-MFC: Rd 04 2023
Lol Carlton player drops ball while being tackled (play on!) Picks it up again while being tackled then drops it again ....all while being tackled (play on!) 🤣- NON-MFC: Rd 04 2023
So two players at a contest.... at least three umpires in visual and not one of them sighted the clear high free (round the neck almost a headlock) tackle against Zurhaar haha. However, any hand on a Carlton forward's shoulder and it's instantly called.- Demon Wings
Thanks Sue. Very good article and analysis. Significant change from 2021/22. Interesting how theyve completely divided the field between them. I like - Welcome to Demonland: James Jordon
