Really hard to take this game seriously from a ruling POV What a circus & the umpiring fraternity are the fully fledged clowns this season. What are the teaching these guys and how are they overlooking so many obvious interpretations whilst paying less severe ones shortly after? Many of them momentum builders/killers. Having said that, the Blues are their own worst enemy. So many stressed faces coming off at half time. Whatever is happening with coach <> players certainly isn't making for a 'all for one one for all' environment for them of late. Sort of reminds me a tad of our MN years a tad. And shows in their accuracy for goal and/or shots falling short.

100%. Unfortunately they don't grow on trees & usually in strong demand. Petty might have to be the fill in for a bit. Tomo to stay in as the third tall if he can keep his form to a decent level & depending on match ups.

They are all big outs from a Casey perspective Will be hard to cover all four. Buntine in particular with ball in hand & decision making mostly first class. Did someone say groin for Disco? Hope not.

Sestan has some learnings & may need an extra pre-season for a bigger tank but love what he's bringing in small doses so far. Seems naturally gifted with a good footy brain. Could make a brute of a medium HF as well as a bit of time in the middle if he makes it.

Freo soft and flakey as ever. Great win away against all odds. Bolton was brilliant for the most part. Nanks did ok. Cotchin, Short, Prestia (1st half) and Taranto vg also The umps did their best to try and win it for them.... should give at least 1 brownlow vote to themselves.

After losing to a bottom four club coming back from a big loss in Adelaide i can assure you.... he now knows it's an issue.

The Tigers showing that if you play close checking, strong over the ball footy, play on quickly with forward HBs plus some decent run you will beat this mob convincingly. Soft as butter and we allowed them to beat us on our home deck with no Walters and a ruckman down for most of the last half 😮‍💨

This was No.1 on my Disney Wish List for this week onwards (and in reality has been for weeks now)... 1. For CB / 666...(and also in a general sense) Please start Gawn / Grundy or whoever is playing as a KF alongside Roohey at or around the more true CHF position. Not 25 - 30 meters out from goals or in the goal square alongside Roohey!??? How often have i watched a bail out kick from the middle under pressure dumped to the true CHF area only only to see the likes of Kozzy, Spargo, ANB or even Harmes on one or two occasions trying to take a contested mark in vain. And / or no one there... and the oppo runs into the space for the easy intercept & rebound. Gawn / Grundy (and/or Schache, BB or Macca when fit) can also present from there on lateral leads across the arc or just back of it as a moving mobile target instead of straight lining at the ball carrier, which is often easier for the KBs to defend. I'm not even expecting a hit up lead around here.... just someone who can stand and clunk the odd mark but mostly get the ball to ground to one of our smalls. Instead our smalls and small/mediums are attempting to play the role of a big CHF at times. Other times its the invisible man! Crazy stuff imv.

So an entire season of watching this game being turned into a complete fiasco every week before we might start seeing some decent umpiring? You beauty Newc!

Schache would be lucky to take 5%-10% as a pinch hitter from his 90% forward role i would think MM. Just a different look and would allow Grundy/Gawn a small break on the bench. Might have given the impression i was saying he could take on a ruck type role but certainly not suggesting that if he were to come in. I doubt he will anyway.

Yes and most likely they would've trained for it in the week of the lead up W11. It would be kind of strange if others didn't use that match as the blue print and at least attempt some aspects of it. Which means going away from your usual style / set-ups somewhat. They've beaten us the last few times trying to play the Melbourne way. Might be time for us to change up a little.
