  1. So he'll be playing his usual defender role then

I recall the first one BD. The second.... see below Don't recall the third. I remember a very long one that always amazed me how they could make a banner with that many words but didnt recall the words. I suspect the one you are referring to is the second mentioned by BD here. I always recall at Richmond home games they would have their own running. The one i recall was at the Punt Road end. Can't recall if it was along the boundary or along the edge of the 1st tier. After checking with my older bro, Crusty Demon who's been following since about 65, he stated the following... ..."Masters of the MCG was a famous one I remember very well. It was always placed on the boundary fence on the northern wing in the early 70s. I don't remember the other one though. I do remember a cheer squad banner at Vic Park in the mid seventies that actually said '[censored] on Crappy Collingwog' 😂 True! " .....
  3. Was there any indication that we used some hats (or whatever) to mimic the skinny layout of Kardinia Kev?
  4. Correct. We could and should've been scheduled no earlier than the Sat. They made sure the Cats got a 7 day break and why do they get to play consecutive Thursday nights anyway? This match should be moved to a Sat earliest. This comes back on us though to some degree. Club needs to get in there and fight for a better deal for the boys for this break. Not like we're asking for something everyone else isn't already getting. Smells like discrimination to me.
  5. So thats a mark to Curnow after it bounced off the Suns defender's hands first? I must be living in an alternate world where the rules are entirely different
  6. Suns? More like the 'bums'
  7. Someone managing the AFL app must be a big Tiger fan. Usually takes a few hours or more to update ladder positions
  8. Checker would be turning in his grave 😖
  9. Fabulous goal in those conditions
  10. Tigers move into the 8 Ops sorry... 9th lol
  11. At some stage in the not to distant future .... the banner will be a 3D hologram. The players will break the plain in a smokey haze
  12. Toby still the No.1 tackler inside 50 averaging 2.50 tackles per match Kozzy nipping at his heals in 2nd on 2.36
  13. Francis .... ughhh
  14. Poor old Fagan trying his best to tear out the little hair he has left after that 50
  15. The Brissy Duckers
  16. Cat's recent loading schedule.... Rnd 11 L = Loading Rnd 12 W = No loading This week L = Loading Next week = Giant Bloody Loading 🙏🏼
  17. The Cat's ability to present options for uncontested marks and players getting from contest to contest has really tappered off after half time. & Power have slowly wrestled the mid field battle their way. Now become a mini avalanche
  18. Been watching / listening to Kingy a bit then?
  19. So Pepper and another Port player are allowed to willingly enter the protected zone straight into the oppos 45 angle area. If he wanted to play on there he's blocked. And they both entered from a fair way out not caught there a split second after the mark was paid. They arent trailing an opponent as their opponent is behind them on the fat side Then in shock they both turned on a dime and exited with hands in the air as if to say "oh sorry... didnt see that" No free on either occasion. The reason the "stand" rule was introduced in the first place was to stop that very thing from happening and pay a 50 immediately it does. So the question then has to be asked.... WHY ARE WE STILL CONTINUING WITH THE STAND RULE? Scrap this BS rule FCS
  20. That is a disputed mark and should've been balled up. Cats are getting reamed also haha.
  21. JHF is a ducker. No diff to Ginniven but keeps gettings frees.
  22. And why is it that the snicko meter often seems to go missing with these interstate games? I would've thought that was the option that determines if it truly cleared the goal post. Not just the eye test 🙄
  23. Loved them all but left out Hibbo's 1 v 1 win vs Lipinski (?) out of the pocket. Think that's the quickest ive seen Hibbo run since ... The crowd went nutz. My other fav was Smithy's run down tackle of Maynard. Could've easily tackled from behind and probs ITB but went alongside instead to make sure there was only one outcome. Clever boy.
  24. Good pick up LG. Fritta may have been asked to help counter the abscence of Clarry & Spargo (mostly Spargo) with kicks / connections inside also? Pitty Melk wasn't able to be utilised here as his ability to offer that connection with last kick inside and even the odd goal around or just inside the arc is handy when on. Also noticed Tracc is looking to connect inside/across using angles the last few weeks. If he was able to ease off the last few steps and weight some of his kicks a little better out in front into space so others can run onto them. Does the hard work to break away from oppos early, which is fabulous, but then continues full tilt mode from there. This often sees him kicking over heads of intended target. The overall effort has been first class from Tracc though and suspect he's upped his contested side somewhat during Clary's abscence? The fatigue factor probably coming into play as a result re: finish & goal accuracy? Has Clarry's abscence helped balance Tracc's game out a little? His game felt a little too much 'outside' for mine prior. Seems to have corrected this somewhat since but would need to check the contested numbers. Hopefully this continues after Clarry's return as i reckon Clazz was probably suffering from burn out a little in his last 4 to 5 matches, with most of the heavy lifiting inisde work being left to him & Viney prior to injury. JJ adds some extra grunt / extraction work around stoppages also and would love to see how we fair with him in (for Spargo?) for a while and see what that brings. Many hands make slightly lighter work and the inclusion of JJ plus better balance from Tracc around stoppage work might help the three big guns (Viney, Clarry & Tracc) stay up & about for a decent tilt in the back half.
