The cream is very clearly rising to the top. They are destroying us in every aspect of the game. We look lost. Our skills are woeful. Mark Williams has a lot of work.

Look at Josh Bruce on his “destroy Melbourne” yearly tour. Our midfield is trash today. Cant touch it and can’t use it.

We look like trash now. McDonald is woeful. For such an experienced player he commands zero respect.

We’ve started with all the tenacity of a wet blanket. Midfield is absolutely getting destroyed and nice to see Bontempelli alone again.

The best thing to happen in season 2021 so far is the return of normal length quarters. They are really helping us!

We are a team so heavily reliant on winning clearances, that when we are missing 3 of our best clearance players, it really shows. We are chasing tail which is understandable. Also Salem missing from Half Back has resulted in a lot of terrible ball movement from the backline. Basically we are doing ok considering who we are playing and what we are playing.

We are definitely playing boys against men. The Dogs are an excellent team. They are some genuine stars. Our defense has stood up well, but our midfield has struggled and the less said about our forwards the better. Fritsch and ANB the only two who should play round 1. TMac somehow has done less than usual.

And Rivers kick is deliberate but that [censored] against Spargo was not. Good to see the umpires still sucks.

It’s not a Melbourne game without a Bruce goal ? We put some actual players in the center and suddenly we aren’t the worst. What a shock.

Who the [censored] is on Bontempelli? This is getting ugly.

It’s hard to take this result seriously. We are missing 6-7 of our best 22 including basically our entire midfield except Trac.

I was clearly joking. But yes our lack of midfielders is clearly killing us. Also our forwardline is hot garbage.

No Oliver no Melbourne

Jetta back on. It’s no surprise we are struggling to get our hands on it with so many of our best mids out.

Caleb Daniels is having a blinder. An opponent for him would be delightful.

Their skills are sublime and they are killing us in transition.

To be honest I’m glad we are resting anyone who is not 100%. Imagine if Salem pings a hammy today? Or Oliver? You’d be furious at their poor management. I’m all for minimizing risks at this stage. Let’s just hope both get up for round 1. Oliver seems a non issue. Hope Salem is the same.
