POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
Anyone know which player had the most intercept marks on the ground? I can’t find the stat and I really need it to win our yearly grand final footy draw I do with my friends. There’s a lot of wine riding on it!

Adam Cerra
But at Carlton he gets picked every week, he gets guaranteed big minutes and he gets paid more. And he knows Carlton can get a deal done with pick 6. He's good enough to be a starting 18 player and get paid a premium from a club lacking midfield stars (Walsh aside, who is a gun). In Melbourne he's third maybe fourth in line. If the kid has ego he goes to Carlton.

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
I can just imagine Goody telling May to come off and May just running away from the bench, fingers in his ears, going “I can’t hear you”. We play fair. Other clubs would have fudged an injury report. Young JJ has a long career ahead of him. He will be ok. When ANB kicked the goal in the fourth it all came out. I knew we couldn’t lose and after doing 6000 steps during the game, I just dropped to my knees and cried. I knew it was ours and it was such a relief. Then I just really enjoyed the rest of the game. But cried again when Gawny and Goodwin held up the cup. At that stage I had already had a few quick glasses of champagne and the buzz was real.

What they're saying at Whitten Oval.
I have no ill feelings towards Dogs fans and I generally like most of their players (few exceptions). I thought Bont was very gracious in defeat and I think their supporters are generally understanding of the importance of breaking a long drought. I am sure we will have a long rivalry for many seasons to come. If we had beaten Geelong I would be throwing it in their face like I did in the prelim because they’re a despicable bunch of arrogant tools and their players are all insufferable. But happy to stay humble in victory.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - LUKE JACKSON
He said on the podcast that he loves Melbourne (the city) and is not homesick at all. I think we can all agree the kid doesn’t come across as a master manipulator. Take him at face value. He wants to stay. The only thing stopping him from signing a long term deal is probably his manager knowing that in two years time he will be worth $900k a season and now he’s probably only going to get $500k. And that’s a lot more fake teeth!

They are fleecing us. The Herald Sun is selling half of the same stuff for less, but as if I’m giving Murdoch my money and not my PREMIERSHIP WINNING DEES the cash for all this trash. I hope they release a finals DVD set with the 3 finals wins, and some behind the scenes stuff. Will buy.

AFL TRADE NEWS AND RUMOURS
My only real priority would be to get a Hibbo replacement. A lock down medium defender with pace. We can probably go the draft for that. But also we are prime to just pick talent from other clubs so why not.

AFL TRADE NEWS AND RUMOURS
Also now is the time to put big long contracts in front of Oliver and Jackson. When I say now I mean right now. They’re very drunk. It’s a good way to get them to agree to terms.

The DVD was there last night and not today? I was quite drunk so decided not to make purchases until today.

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
Genuinely so so happy for him. He really is a beautiful humble guy who had a really tough couple of years and got pushed out by his club (bunch of absolute fools!). Came in, fought hard to regain fitness, played his role, and made a massive massive difference to the team. Also he is amazing at drawing free kicks. I forgot how much it used to annoying me… now I love it!

Me today with a brutal hangover. It’s my dads birthday on Friday. So special to watch it with him yesterday. Got him a premiership tshirt because the man loves a commemorative tee. Got some stuff for the bar including that amazing cheese board, because cheese board!

Elite podcast content. The cup is definitely the best guest of the year. Spoke well.

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
The rise in form of Ben Brown has had a lot do with it. Doesn’t need to kick massive bags, but takes so much attention away from the other forwards, brings ball to ground for the crumbers and creates a heap of space by leading to allow us to pick a target. Also the amount of goals we’ve kicked from centre clearances via our midfield these past few weeks is insane. Sparrow from 48m? Jackson was 45m? And people wanted him traded. He is such an important player and a massive part of our on field and off field leadership

2021 Injury List
On the Sunday Footy Show Goody said scans showed he had a 6cm tear and in a normal season he would miss up to 7 weeks. Hurt it again in the second half. Had 14 touches and conceded 1 goal. What a warrior.
