  1. So glad I have my reserved seat. For 20 years I paid for these seats, and it's never been needed... finally, the long wait has paid off 🤑
  2. My only issue is the short break leading into the Brisbane game. Gonna be tough.
  3. What annoys me about all this, is that North have suffered more from this racism allegations than Hawthorn have, and Hawthorn are the club in question. I have no idea who is or isn't innocent in all this, but the one thing I agree with is that this investigation has been a farce, and Hawthorn have somehow come out of it unscathed, while the individuals involved are left hanging. God bless the AFL and it's complete lack of integrity. A joke of an organisation!
  4. Teddy is adorable! Does he ever wear his hair in a ponytail? I feel like he could pull off the Brody Grundy.
  5. As I said, it’s why he’s chunky. You can’t say no. My dad can’t ever say no to him. The minute my dad is around and there’s food, Bear goes and puts his head on my dad because he knows old man can’t resist him! On Mother’s Day Bear had bacon, salami, egg salad, bagels, smoked salmon and croissant… and then nearly killed us with farts 😂
  6. At my parents house…. Where I go for free food when I’m broke.
  7. What a beautiful boy!!!
  8. Hilarious. Bear is extremely food oriented, to the point where he will attend the opening of a packet of chips from the other side of the house, and has learnt how to spell dinner because we’ve started spelling it instead of saying it to avoid him going crazy. If you’re eating anything and won’t share he will tap you on the arm repeatedly until you give him some. If I say “you can’t have this” (like if I’m having chocolate), he dramatically flop down and sighs like he’s worked a 40 hour week and has two mortgages and 3 ex wives. The first trick he learnt was to shake for a treat. To this day, if I say the word treat he will sit at my feet and raise his paw to shake without even being asked… and this is why my dog is chonky.
  9. And the greatest hip and shoulder ever laid in AFL…. Would get a 700 week suspension for it these days.
  10. I reckon Dixon will play and he’s playing games with us.
  11. Exactly. I want to be plastered by 7pm 😂
  12. My first thought as well, but I would also understand if he wouldn't want to spend the remainder of his career fighting for a win. He went through that at Melbourne, won a flag, and is probably not keen to return back to that. Essendon, Richmond (Cotchin and Dusty gone), or Saints might be interested, and that's assuming he doesn't want to move interstate to say GCS or GWS. He is quite versatile so could also play half back/half forward.
  13. At 28 and with a year left to run on his contract, I think this is a good move. It will allow Harmes to be best 22 again, which he is certainly good enough to be, and it will open up some cap space which we could use to keep someone like JJ who is 5 years younger. I would have no issues if he stays, but I think if he wants to get the most out of the back end of his career, he would be best served to do it elsewhere and I am sure the club would help to make it happen if that was his wish.
  14. WHY YOU DO THIS TO ME?!
  15. No we are not, we can throw Gawn or Grundy at FF. We are getting much more output from our small forwards anyway.
  16. Tmac for Petty for me as well. If May or Lever are injured mid game we are screwed, so Tmac gives us the best flexibility to replace Petty
  17. He seems like such a genuine down to earth person. His family must be incredibly proud of him.
  18. Quoted for truth I have never met a human I liked more than my dog.
  19. Hahaha brilliant. He’s so cute. The majestic tail is 10/10
  20. Oh they are so smart and so sensitive. When I got Covid and I was really sick he wouldn’t leave my side. He also would lay on my chest and it was the only thing that would stop me from coughing. Dogs are angels.
  21. I’m happy to say that you’ve nailed this one
  22. Bear has an emotional support Melbourne blanket that he sleeps with. Occasionally he brings it to the living room to inform me that he’s feeling distressed…. This was him earlier today when I informed him dinner time was still an hour away
  23. Watched it. Loved it. Could not be prouder of our magnificent football club for continuing to pave the way for a more inclusive game. We are pioneers of so many wonderful initiatives in this league and this continued drive towards inclusion of our indigenous past is perhaps the most important initiative of them all. And to anyone who has a problem with the rebranding to Naarm, I urge you to watch this video to understand how much it means to players who you love to watch run around in the red and blue.
