  1. I have no doubt there are clauses in his contract relating to serious injuries @Binmans PA I don’t think he would want to rehab another ACL, but my god he’s a resilient man. His ability to recover and play injured is remarkable. Would anyone even suspect he was playing with a fractured ankle the last two weeks?
  2. That’s worse than Baby Shark At least get on the GWS bop Leo.
  3. I haven’t seen anyone say anything except “please stay” or “please come to x club because that’s who I barrack for and I’m a loser” 😂
  4. Totally fine to have a different opinion. But he literally inferred that Gawn is a poor leader for extending for 3 years and not going year by year, and collecting a paycheck, which is a [censored] take and completely bloody unnecessary for a warrior of our footy club! It’s never what you say, but how you say it. In a week where our club has been in the news for all the wrong reasons, would it kill supporters to be happy about some positive news?
  5. Look who liked Gawn’s post of his re-signing Paging @H_T
  6. Where’s the pile on on Collingwood? From premiers to missing the 8. So sad.
  7. He was swimming on the farm doing recovery and the girls were watching on
  8. Can I suggest that you go barrack for St Kilda? I reckon it’ll suit you.
  9. He liked a post that Viney made earlier today. But let’s not make this yet another thread about Petracca.
  10. Are you seriously ok? Gawn with 1000 injuries (1000, really?) is the best goddamn ruckman in this game, by a very large margin too. He is currently ranked better than in any other year of his career. He’s also a brilliant leader. What the [censored] sort of idiotic take is this? You don’t think this man can contribute to our club for another 3 years? Both on field and off the field? Would he not be an amazing mentor to all the young guys coming thru, especially in the ruck? [censored] go away!
  11. Congratulations on the literal sh!ttest take of the season.
  12. What a [censored] champion this guy is. An amazing leader and player in every way. Always puts the club first. Well done Gawny, and well done Georgie boy you are a gem ❤️💙
  13. @WalkingCivilWar are you going to training tomorrow? I need your social observations stat 😂
  14. Carlton has a lot to play for. Eagles don’t.
  15. That’s what I think too. I can’t imagine this statement is what started it all.
  16. Fair enough. Didn’t the AFL also mandate that clubs must list time frames on injury lists this season? I think the club did what they thought was right based on the information they had at the time. Trac is not the first or last player to return to play with a serious injury, nor the first or last player who was listed wrongly on an injury list. To blow your whole relationship with the club that made you who you are over that, seems a tad dramatic.
  17. Is it possible that the club didn’t know he was getting a blood transfusion? That they went off the initial diagnosis made by the ER doctors that he had broken ribs and a low grade spleen injury? I think we forget that his diagnosis was complex and 3 doctors failed to treat it properly for 6 whole hours. Expecting the clubs to know what would happen in the future, when they were obviously being pressured by fans and media to let everyone know how Trac is, is pretty ridiculous. There was no malice from the club.
  18. 100%. Every club would fall over themselves to have Trac. But very few clubs would have the salary cap space to accommodate his contract, or the currency to get a trade done. Richmond, West Coast, North and Hawks would be the clubs who probably could (Hawks don’t have the best draft currency tho with probably making the 8), and somehow I don’t see Trac wanting to go to any of them. A club like Carlton or Dogs for example would need to offload a big contract to make it happen first. So say Naughton would need to be part of the deal.
  19. Yep you’re probably right I refuse to acknowledge losing to the Pies. That’s on me 😂 Anyway this was not a middle finger to Trac. It was a middle finger to the media! The whole game and post game had a vibe of “you think we are not united and we are falling apart, well watch this”. Actions always speak loud than words, and our actions yesterday were a perfect response to all the garbage that’s been directed towards our club.
  20. Hope he’s in the rooms pre and post game. I don’t care where he sits during the match, as I understand that there are heart rate constrains that may prevent him from being on the bench or in the box.
  21. Why not take it next week at the G? I assume he is playing.
  22. That is his choice. Why is he isolating himself from the club? It feels like he’s trying to make the relationship with the club untenable so to force the club to trade him. I hope we hold him to his contract unless we get a deal so good it can’t be refused.
  23. Are you saying it’s one or the other?
  24. He’s going nowhere this year. He needs to build a bridge and get over himself and work with the rest of the leadership group on getting back into contention. We won’t trade him with 5 years left, without giving ourselves the opportunity to turn things around first.
