I’ve been posting here for 20 years. It never gets any less unhinged, but it continues to be a great resource for all things Melbourne, from the informative all the way to the deranged. Well done to the whole team at Demonland for keeping this site not only active but thriving. We seem to get bigger and bigger each year.

He was very ordinary last night. No hurt factor. He will never be a first choice mid while we have Clarry Trac Viney and Sparrow around. Sparrow was absolutely sensational btw. I think he was our best mid this finals series.

A deserved suspension, but the mind still boggles and rages that Maynard is free to play. I love Pickett’s hard edge, but he has to cut this [censored] out of his game. Costly and unnecessary.

Also sorry if our goal kicking last night was the last football thing you got to watch.

If that isn’t the biggest indictment on Schache being soft, given he’s bigger than Tmac, I don’t know what is.

He’s been ruled out of the prelim with a hammy. His body is just not it anymore.

He is somehow underrate. Which is laughable because he is probably the best FB in the game right now. His sheer will to win is what makes him a joy to watch. We are very lucky to have him, but he is also coming to the end of his career and not winning another flag without him and Gawn still playing top football would be a total waste. We won’t be able to replace those two.

Farewell Grundy. I don’t think we handled this situation well but I understand why we got him. I wish him the very best.

May Lever and McVee are not why we lost. In fact our backline once again must be fuming. Work so hard to keep the opposition to a low score and then watch our forwards butcher their chances. Incredibly frustrating. Fritta had a finals campaign I think he’d rather forget. And Langdon a season I think he won’t be happy with.

And as if tonight couldn’t get worse my Essendon mate texted me to say our season was a bigger waste than theirs and that we [censored] the bed. I texted him the score from their final two games and said this is what [censored] the bed and rolling in it looks like.

What a coincidence that Tomlinson played and they played so well. I am shocked.
