Maybe, but it's just so incredibly pathetic that in our 150th year we get ONE night game... ONE! And it's not even just about crowds, it's about attracting sponors and advertisers. Richmond get 9 night games, and they are crap to watch, and the Roos get 9 night games and they have less members than us. Where's the sense in that?

Thanks for the breakdown. Need to come up with 5 original excuses to get time off work... thankfully I have a few months yet to come up with sneaky yet believable reasons as to why I just have to get those specific Saturdays off. We better win those games!

No, it has almost everything to do with the fact that they tanked, got the extra picks, and managed to pick up Judd. They are only getting night games because Judd will attract a lot of attention and the TV ratings will go up. They should be punished for their blatant cheating, and the fact that they have been consistently rubbish for a number of years.

We still deserve more than 1 night game when Carlton, the tankers, get 9 night games. Lets put it this way: Cheating pays off in the AFL! :angry:

That's what you get when the founding club of this competition turns 150. How are we meant to draw big crowds with Sunday games and just one Friday night game?

Can someone do a breakdown of which teams we play twice, and what rounds we play away?

It looks ok, except we only get 1 Friday night game, and we play Geelong in Geelong... AGAIN! Pretty sure I counted 5 interstate trips not including our sold home game (and f'ing Geelong ), which is not too bad. Happy that the majority of our matches are on Sunday as well (Saturday would have been better, but what can you do!). Overall it doesn't strike me as a bad draw, now lets just hope it's the right one!

Helps those of us who are currently living in university libraries, to not procrastinate.... I mean.... <_< Pre-season starts in only a few days, and then hopefully we'll be getting interesting reports about how DB is putting our players through a military-style pre-season and how players are throwing up after every session :D

Looks like they are sending out the memberships by category. How many years do you need to accumulate to get Silver (this will be my 8th consecutive season)?

That's my favourite one too, but I guess it is too similar to the MCC logo and Carlton's too, and we're trying to stand out and differentiate ourselves, so it's no good.

That is disgraceful! They can't send us interstate 7 times, while Collingwood only travel 4 times a season. I hope that by sending us to Cararra, they only send us to Adelaide and Perth once, meaning we still get a total of 6 interstate games.

What the hell?! Be prepared to get screwed in the draw as well, it happens after every poor season we have... However Carlton will magically get a killer draw!

Look at the end of the day, no matter what our new logo looks like, or whether we are officially known as MelbourneFC, this club is still the Melbourne Demons and the colours are still red and blue, and the history is the same, and the players are still playing for the jumper. If the marketing department at the club thinks they can better position the brand with this new logo, than I'm happy. Whatever it takes to help better this club is fine by me and should please everyone who loves this club. My only real annoyance is the crapness of the jumper illustration, but that's only because I spend hours creating perfect illustrations for uni and I hate it

Rubbish logo IMO. It's unimaginative and boring. Also, the building of the training facilities seem to take longer and longer everytime. I thought we were meant to be using them in 2009, now it's before the 2010 season? Like the jumper though
