  1. Countdown jitters, perhaps?
  2. No. It is about anything but a certain footballer (who is a liar and a dubious character, but not a cheat as far as I know). That includes Essendon's disgraceful actions, and many much more pleasant things beside.
  3. No way, WJ. There is a lot of non-T$ non-B$ talk that hasn't yet been said, despite our best efforts.
  4. I was going to say the day before Sunday, but somehow I felt that would be wrong ...
  5. Now that takes me back ... I still have an old Daryl and Ossie LP somewhere!
  6. Now this is my kind of sunrise ....
  7. Of course! Touche, DC!
  8. "The one-liners of Paul Keating" is certainly a funny book. I did like the time he commented on Andrew Peacock's return as "A souffle can't rise twice".
  9. Thank you! BTW if it is incomprehensible, then how do you know it cannot be an attempt at the profound? Better banal than anal, but then again, you are not reading this, are you?
  10. I think it is more like a full moon, OD, that has the natives howling
  11. What pressure? Taking on alpacas at chess doesn't sound too daunting (unless they play chess Harry Potter style ... big endian indeed! )
  12. Is that big endian riff raff or little endian? Or is big endian riff raff the same as raff riff?
  13. On second thoughts, it is possible that he will get confused between codecs and Daleks ...
  14. Only if he inhaled a dodgy substance a few minutes beforehand that he bought from Biff ...
  15. Ah but drop about 100kg of soggy lettuce from a height of about 100m, and I think you could be in some trouble ... at least the lads would get a good feed, though ...
  16. Nice one DC, (or 1312, or 1101 1100 )
  17. That explains a lot ... I thought it was getting warm ...
  18. At least you can tell a pointless post from a point post ...
  19. Still means you need to get out more ...
  20. In the base 16 number system, there are 16 digits, often denoted, 0-9, A,B,C,D,E,F. That means 'A' in base 16 is the same number as 10 in the decimal system. So if 10 is a single digit, it must have been its equivalent in base 16, ie A. Worse than explaining a joke, I guess, but there you go. Bet you wish you hadn't asked now
  21. You need to get out more (or maybe read some of your own posts )
  22. Base 16 (hex) of course ... (although it would be A, but let's not go there .... )
  23. Beaten for quality by at least 5 lines from every Blackadder episode (well at least seasons 2, 3 and 4 anyway).
  24. Too right. But how you can mention that Seinfeld crap in the same sentence as Maxwell Smart is beyond me ...
  25. Jazza, I came across a couple of mates of yours today ...
