You know the free kick I would like to see get paid. Is when aplayer takes possession of the ball with hands free chooses not to dispose and gets tackled. Happens about 20 times a game I reckon

Watching the Swans so far I reckon Longmire has run out of ideas
  5. Front Bar is OK, I like sam and his quick wit, however it seems they drag out an old calton player every week.
  6. Cue Adem Yze is going to leave thread
  7. They just need to follow the white line (should be a doddle for them)
  8. If Essendon can play there, then why can't Carlton, Collingwood and Hawthorn (especially Hawthorn). The games revenue is made mostly from TV rights anyway. So time to move some of the other "Blockbuster" games
  9. Must be practise from you being " the man on the Telly"
  10. I actually have a skill (maybe even a super power), that I can have the sound on and mentally tune out the commentary until the good Melbourne bits....also helps if your a bit deaf like me. And speaking of "what gets on my goat". The term "territory" JB's favourite go to annoys the carp out of me.
  11. We won a premiership doing just that
  12. When we good, I mean really mouth watering good in the past, our strength was how many players we would get to the contest, tonight we seemed outnumbered in so many occassions. I believe tyhe game plan has changed so dramatically that, the gettting numbers to the contest is no longer a priority.
  13. Anybody looking forward to Brisbane next week?
  14. I bet they sub Woey
  15. A few players down at half time, Petracca, Salem, to name a couple, but rapt in Woey jnr, JJ, Sparrow and Viney
  16. He'll never keep up with him, Lyon's gotta be 60 or so
  17. Joel Smith the sub.....That's really interesting
  18. You know it wasnt a day for swaps and changes and trying things. It was a day to play hard good wet weather footy and we didnt play basic footy that you might see in the amo's or the VFA.
  19. I am assuming you watched this from your lounge room and not in the freezing cold at thegame: Gawn - too old too slow Grundy - Cameo at best Viney - an Herculean effort May- great all game Lever - steady and effective Rivers Underated best player Brayshaw - Drop him now Neal-Bullen - Better live than on TV Bowey - only true thinker Sparrow - tough but limited Hunter - makes dumb decisions Langdon - Drop now !! McVee - not the worst Brown - conditions didn’t suit Harmes - Never play again Chandler - Drop now !! Pickett - Drop now !! Petracca - an enigma ?? Petty - Not the worst Smith - continues to contest (not sure what more you want ) Salem - again not the worst Melksham- Past his prime
  20. I have taken my time post this, just walked back from the ground. And so p%%%sed off is an understatement. To play a game and dominate as much as we did and then lose means some changes need to be made. I wa s watching at the ground, all the endeavour is there but the connection is not, little dinky up in the air passes need to be banned. Players to be dropped: Langford, Chandler, Kossie, Harmes, Brayshaw. It seems the talls (forward) i.e Smith, Brown etc needs to be given some dry game time
  21. I saw him up here in Alice yesterday
  22. Has @WalkingCivilWar made the trip? Saw some Demon Army people there at the ground yesterday.
  23. I'm Rapt with the Ange appointment, and so good to see Spurs getting some Australian press. Sick of seeing Man U, Liverpool and Ars....(I can't bring myself to type it), in the news all the time.
  24. Standing and watching the captains run yesterday in the cold, has added another meaning to the phrase dedicated supporter. I can attest that the sausages were hot cheerfully served and plentiful. I shall be leaving the unit to trudge the 300m to the ground looking like a red and blue Michellin Man, and join other supporters on the hill (at the Grange tent...I hope). Of all the players kicking the ball around yesterday, Bowey impressed me the most, his bullet passes just dont miss.
  25. I actually checked this morning as I drove over the Stott St Bridge......No water in the Todd
