Interesting Joeboy. I think your a bit harsh on some, we did win easily from quarter time. But always good to see another’s views. we were not perfect but I thought our back 6 worked it out really well. They will only get better with more games together. Tomlinson is far more composed than Omac or Frost ever was. Is frosty still playing for the hawks or is he injured ?

As was pointed out earlier ( thank you) it was by the Saints player Guerra in the forth game after those 3 great games. Bruce was out for some weeks and I don’t think he ever dominated like he did for those 3 games. Guerra switched to Hawks and played for quite a few years, I was always hoping someone would fling him into a fence. a good reason to dislike the hawks, quite apart from a mate RW who is a painful hawthorn supporter, never hear from him if they lose. Apologies if my memory is wrong, Just me I am TBO. It sometimes blurry, time alcohol and stress. Go Dees Don’t like the cats either

For mine, no change, reward the winners, just hope we can bring the intensity and manic pressure to GWS. many times we had two blokes tackling the oppo ball carrier, reminded me of our play in 2018. In his very first game for the Saints, think i was 12, he overwhelmed a Mr Barassi and was quite disrespectful as I remember. And yes as he got older he played with a small towel in the back of his shorts, (again I think) and a couple of times an opposition player ripped it away . I do not think they did it twice. And both the saints and demon sides in the later years walked and played far taller with CD in the side. Very well respected, Go Dees

Bummer about Harmes being out, watch the replay first 30 seconds of the first quarter, he got a pass from the certre scrum side stepped or went past an opponent heading for the edge of the square and goal, AND a free kick goes to the dockers behind him. I am not a Harmes fan but he got himself into some great positions, simillar to Spargo getting into the stream of football. Chandler needs to play somewhere, If Harmes is out then Viney comes in if he is fit enough Do not think there will be many other changes We won, rusty but we won, 4 points in the bank. Give those players another chance, But is not going to be a walk in the park.

Just watched the replay, knowing the result of course. Thought all played well, no obvious terrible games. They were all very rusty though. The backs were great.
