  1. It be is going to be interesting to see who of the emergencies or extended bench makes the cut. one of Bowey, Jordon Sparrow , or Hibberd will miss. Don’t think Grundy will miss. Laurie , Turner and Dunstan I think will miss

And if you live in Elwood . Then I used to go home with you on the train. I think
  4. First I heard about an invite to training for long term members was just now. And I have 25 plus, Maybe it was selective !
  5. All it means is this week, indeed every week. It’s important to turn up and win the four points. Last week no one turned up, missing a tall up front and another down back was not an ideal start. Selection of emergencies not done well, imho.
  6. And if we lose and Adelaide, Brisbane or Port Adelaide, any or all could win, we could go to 9th . If Geelong and Freo win by enough and we lose badly, We could be sitting 11th. percentage of the others too poor. It is a very even ladder, we just need to win. someone needs to check my reasoning Rather have AC/DC highway to Hell and win with vigor than having the other group that sang Sorry Easybeats thats what the other clubs will think if we lose this week,

That sums up my opinion of AB
  8. Agree that was really a turning point. We had played well in the second up to that point, A couple of other very puzzling decisions as well, but we were not really interested at all in the third. Terrible quarter of football
  9. Yes I agree, this is close, we got the result we deserved
  10. Well done Joeboy again, I think I could argue against perhaps two or three, but the team did not care so why should I bother. well done again am I disappointed yes I am, hate losing to those baaarstards

Yes I remember Oakleigh Districts in the 70's sounds the same as Doveton in the 80's. wasnt really safe during daylight if you played for their opposition.

Did not mind Thornbury, I played with UHSOB, couple of suburbs away, so tough match, tough to support the seniors but never really a problem, but we never over stayed our welcome. Only played a couple of times about the 1980's if i remember. All a bit of a blur now, throw in a marriage and breakup, I do not remember and not sure i want to remember it all. If I remember Thornbury had one neighbour club they absolutely hated and same the other way. Anyway Go Dees

I thought Doveton, was pretty rough, cannot remember going in and having a beer after, however Thornbury played as hard, but you could have a beer, perhaps only one,
  22. Could not watch and listened after a few glasses of Shiraz, so on these observations MFC. Many diverse views. really good to have a lightening rod to attract differing opinions thanks joeboy
