Without going over board that game ( only listened to radio) seems to have laid down a foundation for the rest of this year. pies had some out. we had Petty, Bowey, Oliver, BBB, and Tmac missing all potential best 23, also Jackson to freo from our 2021 side thats as big a chunk of players as the pies one third almost we can be optimistic. !!

How come some sides look like they are playing absolutely shout housely and then when they play the mighty Dees they grow another leg and play great. It’s just not fair.

Liking the comments will have two changes I think Oliver and Hibberd. No others I like Tomlinson down back with Salem playing better. McVee as well. It’s settled. up forward Smith did OK created and moved. Bit like Tmac used to do, it’s pretty much settled. hope the mids kick it in front of them. if you remember it was only one maybe two very wrong umpiring decisions in the last 5 minutes that helped us lose. Tmac still has a sore head…. and port are in red hot form . We are their equal. Good enough to beat the pies . wish I could watch Only listen ABC on the way home. I thought it was a great move putting Petty forward but he seems awkward there, might be good at times. I did think Tomlinson would cover for him but seems not to be in the mix. But I think its time he went back, get the 2021 back line essentially back together, then look at the entry into our forward 50 and our forwards. I also think we got Schache cos the bullies did not rate him, they might be correct, JVR is very young and while has great potential does not walk on water yet. Still he has more energy in the 4th quarter than most

In my view, old fashioned probably, I think we need to have in the back paid, and if you fail to get rid of the ball correctly incorrect handball, and if there are 2 players from one side into there opponent on the ground, in the back, The game will open up and we will not have a rugby scrum rolling around the ground. Now I feel better n better

I can only look on from a distance. So no inside information. but it seems to me that during 2021 everyone in the club I mean all the players were really invested in the “team” doing well, it does not seem to have that same cohesion and pure enjoyment anymore. I can remember Oliver tracca and praps Harmes grabbing the ball mid air mid flight with a huge grin on their face. I do not see that now. We need to get over the blues and enjoy.

Irritating. Yes it was irritating lucky I still have a tv the dog left home but yes since middle 2020 our win loss is the best I can remember. And you MUST enjoy this period of supporting the demons. It might be over soon it might be over long time yet, but it will change. so enjoy
