Very similar but both McVee and Laurie had been in our system for a year at least like Howes. But Caleb straight from the draft to be selected first game, that’s as good as any number one pick in the last few years. Except I don’t think we are a struggling club. So that’s even more impressive. I hope he lives up to it. someone on here likened him to Tulip, that’s hard to believe.

Team selection we have 3 new players. But only 2 without senior experience. the selection of Billing’s is not a problem but we have 2 total newbies Caleb Windsor early selection last year, surely it is only clubs in dire straits that pick their first selection in the opening game. Or is he that good. Why did he not go earlier. Maybe JT has pulled another.
